WeLcomE....AuGuSt!!!!

Today we received the wonderful news that my Brother and his wife were able to sign the Legal adoption papers to add this cute little guy into their family! I just have to say how amazing adoption is and that it is nothing less than a miracle. Ryan and Amorie had only been on the adoption list for about 2 weeks when this couple found them. After about a year, they basically decided this little guy would be better loved and cared for if he was with a new mom and dad. Talk about perfect timing! It is amazing to me how he and most adopted kids somehow look just like their new parents!! Little August looks just like his new mom and dad!
Well, welcome to the family little guy! and Congrats Ryan and Amorie on their new addition!!! We love you!

Weekend FuLL of FavoRitE FUN!

On Friday our friends invited us over for yummy food(which was my fav!) and another favorite...campfire and SMORES!

and OuR ROCKstAr!! :) He never puts down his guitar, so I had him put on a private concert for us! It was fun and I think he loved the attention of 5 screaming fans!!!!
Drew is soon to follow...no matter where we go, Drew finds a guitar and tries playing...sometimes he even sings along! Guess we know what he'll be doing in a few years~

A little LATE... time for bed...don't worry Drew wore those glasses all night, during his movie and fell asleep with them cause he freaked when I tried to take them off. So finally around midnight I slipped them off when he was sound asleep.

At the park with H.S. friends... Peyt asked "Is it just going to be your friends there, or will I have some too?" I didn't know it, but sure enough he had a friend just his age there. Thanks to Lauren for coming :)

HaPPy MoThERs DaY!!!!!

Starting the day out with such a cute gift from the wonderful boys(all 3) in my life! This cute frame with the cutest saying and some YUMMY carmels!! They also gave me a couple cards that were super cute. Thanks sweetie and boys for allowing me to be your mom, I'm one lucky gal! :)

A quick visit to Grandpa Rich's, since Cindy was out walking the dog...the boys got to wrestle and play with Grandpa. Much over due fun with him!

And back to my moms for dinner, dessert and family fun! All her kids...minus Erin who is just too far away! Although, she was on the phone.... :)

And NOTHING is better than time spent with the ones we love MOST!
FIRST and so exciting for Peyt...Tys took him on a Father & Sons campout with our old ward. Our good friend Ryan had said they should come and once Peyton knew, he wasn't about to let his dad turn that opportunity down. He kept saying he was going camping in the "Rocky Mountains where the dinosaurs used to live" and I have no clue where he came up with that! :)
Every day he was asking if it was almost time for the campout and could barely control his excitement when Friday came. He told me that it was just for Dads and big kids. Cute!

All ready to go...just waiting for Ryan and Austin to come...

SO since they were off to play...I thought Drew and I might as well enjoy a date night out together too!

We headed to Gateway where we had RuMbi for dinner... (he wanted to wear the badge, don't you love it?? Just taking after Grandpa Rich in being a Fireman!)
We found some yummy gumballs! and then went and partially enjoyed "How to Train A Dragon"... Drew was scared of it and after about 20 minutes and covering his eyes off and on he was pulling on my arms ready to leave. So we did. I'm sure it was about done with the scary firey dragons, maybe, but oh well...I wasn't about to force a 2 1/2 year old to stay when he'd probably just cry or scream. So then we headed home and cuddled in bed until we fell asleep. I loved having a night with just my little Drew. I think we'll do this more often!

Thanks for such a fun weekend...I seriously can't even explain how much I love family and how much they mean to me. I hope I never take advantage of any time I could have spent with those I love! :)
