AW! St. George....!

Well Tys and my step dad headed down Thursday night and me, the kiddos and my mom headed down Friday morning. I packed PLENTY of crap and etc for the kids to keep busy. And they did...the drive was seriously awesome! Prob cuz i had the great help of my mom! :) THANKS! We could only find one set of headphones, which is the ONLY way to get sound in our car right now, cuz somehow the stereo is jacked. Anyway, my mom had an extra set and they kept falling out of Drews ears so this was our first solution! haha
Then we taped em' in there! haha

Then met up at yummy Red Robin for dinner where we saw friends from clear back in Farmington too! FUN!
and they secretly told the waitress it was our Birthday month! Kin wasn't sure :)

Drew waited ALL day to go swimming so I let him go pick out these goggles!
We had the pool to ourselves for a sec for our 9 pm swim...then it got crazy just before 10 so we headed out :)

We also stopped to see my Grandma Pickett who is now in a rest home in Monroe. She is doing great!
AND nice right?? The boys loaded me up, trying to make me comfy on the way home. It worked! Love those guys and loved our little road trip and getaway! MORE please?!!

Kick it #27: Make Someones Day!

This one has actually been really fun. I LOVE to make people happy and do something nice or surprising for someone. So a few different times I have done some things that I have gotten the exact reaction that gives you that exact feeling that made it worth every effort. Anyway, not going to post specifics, but it really has been fun! Don't think I'm gonna stop :) haha

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

I just had to post that yes, this was kinda lengthy movie, BUT it had seriously so many great messages. It makes you think, am I doing anything memorable that if I was gone tomorrow my kids, family and friends would have anything to remember me by? Am I making an impact on my childrens life? Am I even being a good mom? If tomorrow never comes, did I do all the things today that would leave me with no regrets? AHHH!!! I need to be a better mom, wife, and friend. You just gotta see it to make you think the way I am thinking :)


I am thankful for these two that joined my Ktown fun :) Missed you that couldn't make it! This pic is kinda creepy, but I'm going more for the memory! Nothing much more relaxing than pj's and a movie with friends! :)

Birthday GIRL'S big day!

So Peyt did NOT wanna go to school till Kinlee was awake, he was SOOO excited for her Birthday! (We love to party around here!) So as soon as he heard her, he went and got her and brought her out to her presents....

Peyt wanted to give her a table and chairs to go with her tea set! So cute, she loved it and it was perfect!

The first thing we could find to stick the candle in so we could hurry and get Peyt to school cuz he was already late :) She just wanted to grab it, and not blow it out.
We decided to go check Peyt out of school and have a picnic at the park for her bday. It was SO windy, but they all loved it, so it was worth it! :)
Drew wanted to give her a baby, but we waited till dad was home to open this one! She seriously LOVED it too! I am crackin' up at her expression here!
So excited to see her new doll!

K I have pics of the whole decor, but won't bore you and will just put those in her 1st bday book instead :) BUT this was one of my fav's! I know, I'm lame...but loved the drink dispenser! ha

The day after her bday I held up two of her new shirts and asked which one she wanted to wear, she seriously pointed to this one! It was hilarious!
We seriously had such a fun Birthday for her! WE hoped she had any idea what was going on! :) Thanks to everyone who was able to make it and for all the gifts! She is surely loved!
