Kick it #30: Do EXACTLY what the kids choose for one day!

I thought Spring Break was perfect for this! BUT don't know if I should be worried my kids didn't seem to do to crazy of things or relieved they didn't ask to go to Disneyland! haha
They wanted to sleep in the tent! So we put it up and they actually slept in it ALL week!
They chose Donuts for breakfast, luckily our neighbor had shared some with us the night before, so we were set! :)
A HUGE bubble bath filled almost all the way!

Peyt never really gets to play with Dash, and the one thing he wanted was to play with him. So he got to come over.
They wanted their faces painted....

Drew wanted Hadlee to come play. They won the rock picking up contest! haha :)
and they wanted Chick-fil-a for dinner!
SOOO funny that they were so easily pleased! hahahaha but hey, it worked for me. We also rented a redbox, the tooth fairy 2...not my favorite. I'm also surprised we went this whole week with NO popcorn!? WTH is up with that! :)

SPriNg BReaK!

We tried to throw in some fun things to do...most of all I basically didn't clean my house or get caught up on laundry this week but tried to let the kids have fun instead! :)
One of the days, Grandma Debbie invited us to breakfast at Kneaders. SOOO yummy! Thanks mom!!!

and the boys wanted to sprinkler under the tramp, I thought it was too cold, but then hopped on the tramp to jump with them and realized it was probably warm enough!
Kinlee just loved being outside every second!!!
and Drew won a horse from the Dentist office! THANKS! He loves it and even fed it some hay! haha
Peyt learned to ride the big bike!!
Drew took some hurtin' to his teeth while playing downstairs, happy to report they are healing SO well!
Peyt went to the jazz game with Tys and begged for this Jersey and wanted to pay for it with his own money! haha Tys of course gave in....
We got some new concrete at our house! and the boys loved helping!

Kinlee and Krew, we dont' seem to get much more from them than this usually :) ha
The boys tried to set up a bike parade last year and nobody was home, so this year, I made up a little invite for them to take around a day in advance. Haha it was really cute and we had a great turn out! Almost every kid (that was in town) came! They rode around a couple times and ended with an otter pop. CUTE!

Grandma & Grandpa Yates!

Last Sunday (yes, I'm BEHIND! haha) We went to Grandmas, and had a yummy Easter Turkey dinner and then the hunt was on!




Thanks Mom and Bruce for a great start to our Easter-ness! haha Love to you! We were even lucky enough to have Great Grandma and Grandpa Tait join us!!!!

Easter Egg HuNt!

Easter Egg Hunt in the Dark? Yes, Please!

My friend told me about a Hunt at the park in the dark...we were gonna head over but decided to do our own! haha Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Debbie were watching the kids for ALL of us (THANK YOU!!!) So we headed back there after a good Dollar store trip and geared up in glow necklaces/bracelets and headed out for the hunt!

Grandma and Matt provided the flashlights so the kiddos could find their eggs!!! Thanks!

Started my Birthday with a yummy dinner on my Bday Eve with my step mom! Thanks Shannon for a great start to getting old :)
Hilarious kiddos! I seriously love them. I've been gone too much lately and am missing my time with them.
I woke up on my bday to this! FUN OH and some weights. My hubby is so sweet and so nice to think of me. Love you babe! PS Peyt wanted to take the pic :)
THEN we had a surprise knock on the door with a Great Harvest Cinnamon Roll delivery! THanks Bruce!!! He even sang to me! haha Loved it!

I seriously was so overwhelmed with all the fun phone calls, texts, presents, fb messages, notes, cards, treats and just flat out LOVE! THANK you everyone!!! It's amazing that even though I am freaking 29 that I still loved every second of the Birthday fun! and how much people take the time to remember you, it seriously meant a lot! THANK YOU!

hahahaha Well, one of my long time Best friends, Heather...brought me over a gift and wanted me to open it right then but couldn't get the smirk off her face the whole time watching me. Finally I pulled out this shirt and told her how cute it was. ha She blurted out "No, it's not, it's UGLY! It's a joke!!!" She HOME MADE it! hahaha I have played a few present tricks on her, she got me back and got me good!!! I thought it was a cute shirt and proved it to her by having her take a pic of me in it! haha Thanks for the cute shirt heath and the rest :)
So funny! My friend melissa brought me TP so we had a supply for our TP'ing trip! hahahah love it! and of course a good choc fix! :)
