**SURPRISE!!!**

 My sister, Erin, wanted to surprise my dad by flying out for the funeral. We did a A+ job at keeping it a secret. She flew in, was late by an hour, and we headed to my dads but didn't get there till after 10 pm. They thought I was just stopping by for something. So my dad had gone to bed...I asked Shannon if she could wake him because my tire was saying it was low so I wanted him to check it before I got home. He was kinda bugged, but headed out to the car anyway. hahaha Out jumped Erin with Emilee! It was hilarious! Needless to say we surprised him! I was SOOO glad she could be here for the services. It was more than great to see her, but also wonderful for her to get to have that time to reflect on my Grandma and Grandpa.

 Then we went over to my moms. It was about 11 pm. We headed in and started singing a song we always used to sing with her. They are getting old, because they thought it was just their surround sound on their tv. HAHA Anyway, it was another great surprise. :)

 We had a late night every night and enjoyed every second. I already miss her :(

 and we had a visitor show up at the door to join us in taking her home! haha It was so much fun! We made up songs on the car ride and laughed a lot!

K I seriously loved every second with my sis and her lil' guy here. It makes me so sad that they are so far away. HOpefully ONE day they will make it back home. I miss them more than I can explain. But took advantage to love it when they were here!!!! :)

Goodbye Grandma Pickett...but only for time.

 I have the dearest friends. One friend brought me the sweetest card with a treat, another a sweet willow tree and my other "Craft group" friends brought me this beautiful bouquet of flowers! I am really happy for my grandma to be with her sweetheart. But i know opportunities like these, dear friends take the chance to share how much they love and care for you. and that they did. I love them all and thank them for their kindness.

 At my grandmas viewing my cute grandparents were their to support. I wanted a pic with them, because you just never want to miss that chance :) Love them and so thankful I have them both here.

 Love you Grandma!

After the funeral services we went back to her house to take anything that we might like to remember her by. My sister and I thought it would be funny to dress up in something of hers :) and it was funny! We just hope she agreed :)
I am seriously going to miss her and my grandpa! I hope they know how much I love them and how much I will miss even a simple hug or hello or goodbye or an I love you. The services were wonderful! She would have enjoyed all the nice things said about her. Love you grandma and know I will see you again!

 After a sleepless night with Kinlee and her fever and going to bed at like 5:30 am. I woke up to a text that my sweet Grandma had passed on this morning. I am SO excited and happy for her to be with her sweetheart, I wish I could have witnessed that reunion. I'm positive it was amazing! Although I am completely happy for her to be out of pain and to finally be happy and well. I can't believe the hurt that you also feel, or is it sadness? I wish I could say we were super close and I knew her like the back of my hand. I didn't. But I know that I do love her. That she was such a great grandma, that she spent countless hours putting a quilt together for us that we will cherish forever.  I can take with me the memories of her peeling an apple like she was born to do it, rewarding us for counting to 100 or knowing our ABC's, her stash of 1 dollar bills that always sent us on our way, Turkey dinners at her house, admiring how beautiful she was, her sweet voice telling me she loved me and my family, but most of all knowing I will see her and my sweet Grandpa again because of the knowledge I have been blessed with. I love her and will miss her.

I only hope she knows how much I loved her. I'm thankful for the one last time, on Friday,  I got to tell my Grandma I loved her, that I would miss her and that I hoped she was happy. She mumbled back that she loved me and my family too. :) One thing is certain, I have no doubt she loved me and will watch over us! Love you Grandma, till we meet again...

Happy BiG #7 Peyton!!!

 We hurry and changed Peyts friend party to the day before his actual bday, cuz when I checked the weather it wasn't suppose to be nice on Sat and Fri was staying at 90! SOOO! Here are his fun friends that came. Minus Drew and Beckham who were having too much fun on the tramp!

 Grandma Debbie surprised the boys with a pizza delivery and brought Peyts present! He loved it! Thanks!!!

 and Peyt! HE is acting oh so cool! He cracks me up. Love it.

 The ONLY thing he wanted to do for his bday was play soccer in the sprinklers! SO, that we did! and it was a huge hit. The kids didn't wanna stop playing!

 Drew learned how to do a flip! He was so proud of himself! Love that too!

 and they got these squirt gun things. WAY fun idea, but also glad I was prepared in my swim suit CUZ they drenched me!!! It was seriously so fun! I love acting like a kid again :)

 I filled this up with water for the squirt gun things, and they all had turns climbing in it! It was funny and great entertainment!

 Present time! He loved everything he got! It was so much fun. I love watching all the friends getting so excited as he opens theirs!

 Miss Kinlee didn't nap the whole way through as planned, and yet again found her way to the dirt! She loves eating it. GROSS!

 So on his ACTUAL bday...he woke up at like 6:30...which was perfect cuz I would have slept in for Bountiful Basket! haha He was SO excited to start his day!

 a UTES shirt! He was so excited. It was the ONLY thing he wanted, well and to play 18 holes. Every time we would go to the store and he saw something Utes he would beg for it. It's hilarious! All the sudden he has turned RED! :)

 Birthday Breakfast!

 and for lunch he had some friends over so we sang again! To his favorite dessert...Strawberry Cheesecake!

 They were all dressed up in their costumes! haha Drew rarely smiles. It's seriously funny!

 THEN after the boys played their golf, we headed to Red Robin. Peyt was just having a friend party, but then he really wanted to have a family AND friend party. I told him he needed to choose. So last week he came to me and said "Mom, I know what I want." I guessed a friend party, and he said "Nope, I want a family one, ya know why? Cuz family is more important than friends." Aw, break my heart! How cute. So I couldn't pass it up to throw both together somehow! So for dinner, we decided to invite the grandparents to share his day with him. and he thought Sadie needed an invite too. funny boy. Although, all the grandparents couldn't make it, life is busy! We are glad that a set could!

 K and little Miss Kinlee ended up with a fever, poor girl...that's why she is kinda glazed. But I took out her pig tails and her hair was so cute, I had to try snapping a pic! I seriously love her!

 and every time I would try getting a pic she would just look at me and laugh. I had to snap that too! 

 Oh! I almost forgot. Jay and Nachelle and their kiddos came by for a bit too! We love good friends in our life! and these are my cute boys so worn out! I fell asleep with them on the lovesac and woke up at midnight refreshed...that's why I'm blogging it all now! haha
I seriously seriously can not believe that he turned 7 today. It's actually so bittersweet. I love him so much and love watching him grow and learn, and loving his desire for sports, being an amazing big brother, a best friend, and just seeing who he is becoming. But sad that it seems like I was just enjoying every summer day with him on my lap floating the lazy river at cherry hill...and now he could barely fit on my lap! haha :) Love him tons and hope he had such a great day or great days :)
ANYWAY! Happy Birthday Peyton! Love you tons!

So the other day I actually had the thought for our RS meeting...I hadn't come up with anything and the morning of the meeting, Peyt set this on the counter. How more perfect could it be to share as my "thought" for the meeting. Seriously. Awesome. He is so great!

 and I had to share this! The boys worked on me and Kinlee one night till after 10 pm! haha Kinlee and I both enjoyed it. See her saying "cheeze!" haha Thanks Peyt and Drew for some great pampering! Love those boys!

AND Drew wanted to give tys his FAthers day present that he made at school! How seriously cute is it?! A custom mouse pad! We all loved it! Thanks cute drew!!!
