Who doesn't LOVE a LoNG Birthday Weekend??

Well, I sure do! :) First things first...Last night we got home and my sister had brought by a gift that also included this:

How cute! Gotta love my nephew Brax and his amazing creativity!! thanks to him!

Then Tonight Tys got Sadie to watch the boys (thanks Miss Sadie!!!) and surprised me with dinner at The Roof. We have gone there a few times, but the first time we went together was for my 20th Birthday! How crazy that it has been 7 years since our first time there together! He knows just how to spoil me! Thanks Sweetie!
How about this great jewelry??? I know, you are all jealous! As you should be, it's made with my fav, Tropical Starburst Jelly Beans!! I got these in the mail today from my sis in Virginia. Couldn't have came at a more perfect time than for our date! :) Thanks Erin!!!
Of course, enjoying Red Velvet!!! They've never had it when we've come before...but if you must know, it's Tyson's ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!! When we got married his mom gave me a recipe for it from scratch....and now I love to make it!
Our attempt at getting a pic together during dinner...
AND our beautiful view... how relaxing and nice it is to enjoy dinner there. We even requested a few of our favorite songs from the pianist. She is amazing! And excuse my pics, our camera is STILL broken, so we are settling for pics taken by our phones.

Thanks for the yummy creative pineapple, the CUTE jewelry, and to Tys for the most delicious dinner! Love any excuse to celebrate and tonight happened to be a good one! :)

BiRthDay #27

Wow! I seriously can't believe I am this old...such is life, right? :) Anyway, my Birthday fun started when I woke up to Peyton coming in my room saying "Happy Birthday" over and over while following behind him was Tyson with this yummy breakfast the boys helped me eat!

It was seriouly DELICIOUS and looked like a pro had put it together...way to go Tys!!
My mom had us over for a yummy dinner and some of our family came to join us for my cute cake and just a few, haha, choices of ice cream to accompany!
My mom had asked what I wanted for my Birthday, and I told her just a bow on her front door...since offering her basement for us to live in I had thought was already the greatest present. and of course, that's just what she did for one of my gifts! haha
and here are the VERY few choices of ice cream...my mom can't pass up a great deal! :)
Drew was my helper in blowing out the trick candles...he loved it!
and even my cute grandparents came up from Sandy! Love them and am glad I got to spend some time with them.
Thanks mom for helping in making my Birthday such a fun one! Love you!

And I don't know why we don't have a pic of everyone else, but thanks to all of them that came to celebrate a fun day with us! I don't care how old you get, I think it's always fun to be able to make the best of your special day! So thanks to everyone for all the phone calls, singing and Birthday wishes! Love you all! :)

Lovin' it...!

Well my sis-in-law's phone call couldn't have come at a better time yesterday for a little Girls Night. Little did she know I was in need of it and so she had perfect timing. We hurried and arranged a little night, of course the best excuse for brownies and ice cream!! :) So with that we also enjoyed "Love Happens"...which btw was way cute! (Our girls fun started after Jill and Grandma entertained and wore out Peyt and Drew with Drew's new underwear!!!)

Moms nice Dreads... :) Her hair has natural perfect volume, right mom?
Matching?? What? haha..well, they were both in red, so I thought I should join the trend...
Then this morning we got to head over to Grandma Kaye's Care Center for an Easter Egg Hunt...lots of sugar and fun for the boys.

In the midst of all of this...yesterday and today...I will just say plenty things weren't going my way and I was so frustrated. Which is funny, I had just thought last night how I don't even remember the last time I cried. So we got home from the hunt, got lunch for the boys and my mom called saying she was on her way down. Hmmmm...? She showed up at the door with this...

How sweet and thoughtful is my sister clear in Virginia to get a cake for me!?! Thanks so much Erin, you don't know how much that means. To top off my not so positive day, we went to take a picture of the cake and my camera completely wouldn't work. :( Seriously, one more thing today. So this picture is after we thought we had pics on Tysons phone, which we later couldn't find, and had already given Drew a piece of Cake and I finally realized I should take one with my phone. Anyway, this made my day so much better, and right when I needed it most. Thanks AGAIN Erin!! and thanks to my mom for the delivery :)

I'm on a ROLL...!!!!

Just so many pictures lately I don't want to forget about...and here we go:
These first few are a little behind...but one day Peyt came running in my room telling me to get ready for the "concert"...and to come in the family room with my eyes closed. So I went and sat on the couch and this was their performance. Peyt got creative and played the guitar while laying on the ground

and then decided to throw Drew's pants on over his and dance around some more singing "Low" haha

anything Peyt does Drew follows RIGHT along...so here he is attempting his guitar tricks

Everytime I make cookies...the beaters go straight to Drew. He'd eat the whole thing if I'd let him!

I came home one morning from a meeting and Peyt was SO excited for me to come downstairs. He told me it was Christmas and I needed to close my eyes. AND tada!! Here was my "Christmas" surprise! Lovely right??

Since this month will be our last Visiting Teaching times together. Thanks to Kathy who thought it'd be fun for us to go to lunch. I will be the first to admit I've never been a huge fan of VT, but it has definately been different in this ward. Kathy and I have gone to Misty and Darci for at least, we think almost 2 years and now they are some of my greatest friends. So I guess if nothing else, you can take a great friendship with you from VT. I love them all and am thankful for their lasting friendships. This is obviously of some of the little guys enjoying their ice cream...

and us... :)

Wow and it's never ending with Drew...Peyton was never one to get into things and Drew has been the COMPLETE opposite! :) So he was watching a movie and sat up then came over to me telling me something about his head. Sure enough...there was a chunk of gum in his hair...well not just one but two! You just can't see the 2nd one right on top of his head. AND down his face. Now I know why my dad hated us ever having gum...haha

FuN...Randomness...

Well, maybe this is why I don't get showered and ready while the boys are awake...this is what I found when I went to check on them. Bed and bedrooms both torn apart. At least they were having fun and were entertained! :) They would stand the mattress up and then wait for it to land on them...(Oh and yes, WITHOUT their pants on!)

Then last night Peyton didn't want to go to bed and thought he had figured things out...he was SURE we wouldn't find him. haha

...but we did!! :)

Then today after Peyton asking over and over to have a friend come play, he chose Porter. I figured I might as well let him come since we won't be able to do this much longer. So the boys all enjoyed a little play time together...

I realized I didn't have many pics of Porter and Peyton building "Park City"... It's something they came up with once we got the sand. It's their excuse to play outside, so they can build it together. It's really cute and funny what they come up with. They talk about building pipes for the water, the pools, streets and everything! They sure know what they're doing!!

So just a few fun pics to remember...! :)

F*R*I*E*N*D*S

So awhile back we thought it'd be fun to try and do a Sunday dinner together and successful it was. Thanks to Jamie and Kev for starting the tradition off! And if it weren't for Darci and Misty, I wouldn't even have any pics from it...glad they reminded me to pull out the camera :)
the boys planting peas...I think ?? Brandon is like a big brother to all of them. Cute!
and I am going to let Misty take credit for the rest...she got us together for a pic, the guys think pics are over-rated and wouldn't join in....
Adding Austin in...Jamie looks like she might be paying more attention to the crazy kids running around her house wondering why she had us all over :) haha jk
Some of the cute kids...they have so much fun together!
Thanks Karli for our continued picture taking!! She loved snapping the pics :) and I thought we'd better keep the party pooper men in the picture.

Anyway, thanks for a yummy dinner and fun night...we are lucky to have such great friends that we seriously love spending time with and are just always awaiting the next night of fun. :)

JAZZ time...

Tys finally convinced me into going with him to a Jazz game this season and tonight was our night :) I wanted a pic inside, but spaced it...so this is what we get! Even though it may look like he is about to tackle me! haha We had a lot of fun...it was nice to have some time for just the two of us. So thanks to Sadie for watching the boys and thanks to Tys for a nice night out. In the 4th quarter they were up by about 40 points, so we decided to leave so we could get the boys home earlier and for some reason it didn't work too well for me...CAUSE I am STILL awake!! Oh well...
(this is more for us to remember the times we do actually get a night to ourselves...ha)
They had a good deal on Jersey's so we decided to buy them for the boys! They LOVED them...so much they didn't take them off and wanted to wear them to bed. Cute!
Oh...and lovely that our Dryer gave out this afternoon...and of course it happened to be the load with Drew's blanket in it(which he will NOT go to bed without) So I have to give a shout out and a HUGE thanks to Jamie for drying (and folding) our laundry! What are we going to do without such great friends and neighbors.... :( Thanks Jamie, you guys are the best!
