I honestly can not believe it has been 6 months, since we received the phone call that changed our lives forever.  It was about this exact time too.  I can't sleep tonight, maybe that's why.  So many thoughts and emotions.  Hoping that Julie knows how much we miss her, that a day doesn't go by we don't think of her, that she knows how much we just want to see her, to give her the biggest hug of all and tell her we love her.  We have been blessed with many amazing experiences available to us through, I believe, Julie.  We know she isn't too far away.  As I listened to a song the other day, I realized she IS just a breath away.
We aren't sure if we have even taken the time to thank everyone that has helped us, lifted us, and carried us along even when they have no idea what they have done.  All the meals/food that was brought in, the gifts of memory, the phone calls/messages, the cards, all that love and support is just what we needed and continue to feel. We're thankful for those who take the time to ask, those we get to have tender experiences with in sharing the memories of my mother in law, my childrens wonderful grandma, and my husbands awesome mom.
I wish more than anything I could have fixed it all, could have made her so happy and healthy.  But one of the most amazing blessings of all that this trial has done, is JUST what Julie would have wanted, it has brought our family so much closer.  I feel a love and a bond like never before.  I know she is smiling, so happy now, and so thankful to see the love and support that is given, the tears shed when we're together, the happy times remembered, and the good and happy memories that are continuing to be made...

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman
Daughter, wife and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe
Loved ones she left behind
Just trying to survive
And understand the why
Feeling so lost inside
Anger shot straight at God
Then asking for His love
Empty with disbelief
Just hoping that maybe
It's hard to say goodbye
Her picture in my mind
Will always be of times I'll cherish
And I won't cry 'cause

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels
By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees
And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting
And I know she's smiling saying
Don't worry 'bout me
-Alan Jackson, the words are perfect.

Love you Julie...!

This Week!

These are Kinlees scrubs she got from Grandma Debbie.  Kinlee is sick AGAIN! I finally took her to the Dr, she has pink eye, a sinus infection, and ear infection!!! Poor girl! But gotta get her better for our trip!
She LOVES drew! It's the cutest thing ever to watch these two together.  He adores her.
Grandma and Grandpa brought over a get better treat after they asked about the Dr and found out all the stuff she had!!!
Is she not the cutest and so funny!  She LOVES to play in the pots and pans and this time she was wearing them :)
This is her karate kick when she says "hi-ya!"
Friday is game night and late night!  They made their own bed and were out.  Can you tell who loves the super heroes???
K I know she takes over the blog but the boys don't like their pics taken as much :)
The boys were playing/working downstairs for like 2 hours and kept coming upstairs to get different things and finally told us to come down!
and this is what we found! The boys had drawn up house plans (pic above) and made the house you see behind them in this pic, complete with a living room/computer, basketball room, football room, garage and 2 beds!!! Who wouldn't wanna live here?! and then they got in their football uniforms and had a game playing against each other! yee-ha!
AND what!?! My little guy is going to be 8 this year and be baptized.  He has a great example in his Father.  He is so lucky! He wanted Tys to be the one to go with him to the little program. Love it.
**FIRST...this week we started out with a fun (early) bday lunch for my step mom Shannon! It was so fun to get together with those that could come and enjoy the time together! Happy almost bday to her! I need to get the pics off my phone from it!!!**

NO School and New Years!! :)

We decided to venture out in the freezing snow and play!  Probably why we all ended up sick :) haha

Kinlee just enjoyed watching her reflection but didn't know I was watching. ha so cute!

For New Years Eve this year, we went to the Kaysville Celebration again!  It was a lot of fun. Except this year they didn't have dancing and kareoke cuz the person backed out last minute.  The kids still had tons of fun doing the carnival and eating popcorn and listening to the concert!
 She wanted to chill here...
I don't know how this got mixed in! ha This was from the night before New years eve! Playing with her cousin Max!

Then she wanted to get out as soon as Grandma and Grandpa showed up!
 Dancing with grandpa!
Drew knows how to put that special touch on our pics! :) and Kinlee just wanted grandma and grandpa! ha
Then we went home to hang with just our little fam! Buffalo wing dip(one of our FAV's!!!)
 GAMES!
 AND party accessories!
We may have set the clocks back and did a count down at 10:) The kids had no clue! Peyt took this one for us! haha
 YAY!!!!
 Happy New Year!
 Sparklers!

So we forgot to set one clock back to the right time.  When peyt woke up he saw it and we got BUSTED! haha Oh well, at least they still had fun! and we forgot our cider the night before so they had it for breakfast after watching the ball drop in the morning!
Just doing what her mom does best! She's taking over.
The other night Kinlee climbed in bed with drew.  She loves doing it! Drew always wants her to stay in bed with him!  It's so cute, they cuddle right up.  They are such good buddies! Love it.
