Doing what we do best at our house...making Brownies!!! (I missed out!...haha)

Playing "Primary" ....Oh, their imaginations!

A little visit from Uncle Matt

Peyton LOVES and always talks about getting the "BIG sleeping bag" out!! It is HUGE!

Ending the morning at McDonalds...!

OOPS...! Forgot the ZOO!

Last week for Peytons last day of school, we all went to the zoo. Peyton liked it, but is like me, he'd rather stay for a short time and then be done. I guess 2 hours isn't so short...but everyone else stayed longer than us. Anyway, thanks for the fun idea Mikelle! We got our yearly zoo fix taken care of now! =)

ps...thanks for the pics Jamie and Mikelle

Memorial Day Weekend and a Happy Birthday to my MOM!!!

It was a good weekend...on Saturday I woke up around 8 with Tyson nowhere to be found...I figured he went golfing without saying goodbye, which he NEVER does, but thought maybe he was being nice to let me sleep...ANYWAY, I found him outside with weed blocking paper and mulch!!!! WHAT?? I know, he woke up at around 6, did his thing and headed to Home Depot to get supplies and was back at home getting the flower beds ready! I was so surprised and glad he was doing it and I didn't even ask!! Yea for "cute" dirt!!! You all probably think I'm crazy, but it is such a wonderful thing to get at least some of the dirt covered! Later we headed to Tri-City for some trees and shrubs...we ended up running out of mulch and also needed more shrubs...so these are just pics in progress...

Tyson helped Peyton in putting his tractor to use...he loved helping us...it was like his dream come true to be working with his OWN tractor!!

Today we got to head up to my moms for the usual Memorial Day BBQ and to pick up Peyton... she had him sleep over last night in celebration for her Birthday today! He loved it and I'll have to wait on a cute pic before I have any to post from it.
BUT on to our little party...my mom and her husband had drained their pool to re-patch some things and try to fix a leak. They were in the process of refilling it, so today the water was only 59 Degrees!!! That didn't stop any of the kids from wanting to get in(or just soak their feet)...INCLUDING grandpa Bruce! So here's a couple cute pics from our fun kind of swimming day at Grandmas...

Crazy Grandpa on the diving board....!

Another crazy pose, I think he has been practicing just waiting for them to be shown!!! haha jk

ALSO, Grandma got one of the things she has just been wanting .... a NEW CAR!!! haha, well, not the kind she could even drive, but the kids can! =) That is when you know she is a real grandma, getting excited about one of her Birthday gifts that really isn't even for her, but for all her grandkids!!! (Thanks for the great idea Katie!)

Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Bruce with some of the grandkids...the car is still in the box, but that was one of her presents...

Thanks to Breton, the kids got to enjoy the car right away!! Cute little Drew taking advantage of his turn to take a ride!

Thanks to Tyson for a project almost complete, it was seriously the BEST surprise to wake up to...and Happy Birthday to my MOM!!!! Hope you had the best day!

Be Careful what you SAY...!!!

Last night Tysons friend Jay flew into town. His flight was delayed so he didn't end up getting in till late. We always try and meet up for a little visit when he's here and since he got in too late...Tyson was just going to go out with him instead of us all going and then Peyton wanted to call Jay and see if he'd come to our house instead. He called and Jay asked if he came over if Peyton would have a Party with him. SOOOO excited, Peyton said yes and hung up ready to get the night started! He started rambling about all the things he needed for their party, running in and out of his room, opening the closet searching for things...this is what he came up with ALL ON HIS OWN...

Blankets, pillows, books (because he says Jay likes to read...?), balloons, glasses, a camera, plenty of hats and he had the little radio out to play the music, I don't know why I put it away...He made sure that everything he got out that he had one for him and one for Jay... WAY TOO cute!!!

Peyton with Jay at their "Party!" Jay was nice of enough to show up with some sort of party decor...the "chicken balloons" are courtesy of him.

Peyton loved having Jay come visit! He wouldn't go to bed till he was gone! Thanks for making his night Jay!!! Just wished you lived closer!

So just be careful what you say, at least to a 3 year old...when you say PARTY...he's going to expect it!!!!

I FINALLY gave in...!!!

Since Peyton has been asking for months to get his pool out...(Yes! Even when there was snow on the ground...) Yesterday I decided, why not??? It was a perfect day outside, so we made the best of it!! Until our Cherry Hill days come, this is what we'll be doing....

They loved even just filling it up..!

Enjoying the slide for like 5 seconds...

Drew would rather be golfing...hmmm...he must get that from his dad!! (Tyson would take golfing over water activities any day too!)

haha..Drew would still rather be golfing while Peyton plays in the water!!!

Peyton loves this baseball toy, but would rather run through the water the comes out than actually hit the balls off of it...

Don't you love Drews low ridin' pants...we thought it was funny!

A little lunch

Who didn't do this when they were little?? We loved putting the sprinkler under the tramp!!! and so did he! Drew would laugh so hard, he thought it was pretty entertaining watching Peyton!

One of our hoses must of had a crack, so it made for another fun activity!! (Don't worry the dirt in the back will hopefully soon be the future home of a basketball pad, I promise it's coming one day!!!)

It was a fun day and now with this good weather it makes me excited to start the Drive Ins too! Love the summer!!!!

Sorry Laura, she threw the party and her fav, Adam, didn't even win!! Thanks to her for the cute pic and for the party! AND YEA to Kris for winning!!! I think he is awesome and I'm glad he won!!

At least he came home with his shoe...!!!

Tonight we decided to go over to the Jensen Park by us and let the boys feed the ducks... they loved it! Every time they were out of bread they would beg for more, even Drew! It was hilarious, because when we were out, Drew was so upset and wanted to start throwing anything he could find into the water...including gum and Tysons drink. On the way out, we were walking on the bridge and Drew stopped to climb on the side to see the ducks. I looked down to tell him we needed to go and his shoe was gone!!! He must have accidently kicked it into the water! The fishermen by us offered to fish for it, and luckily they got their only catch of the day...Drew's little shoe!! Thanks to them! Oh, a funny little memory we will never forget!

One of our 2 fishermen trying to catch the shoe...

Drew's shoe just floating along in the water

Peyton was so worried about it, hoping one of them could catch it! In the background you can see the other fisherman guy trying to get it

Finally! the recovered shoe!!! I tried to get the guy to take a pic with the shoe, since it was his only catch of the night that far, but he wouldn't...

Just LoVin' our GNO...!!!

Well, Jill and I do believe in needing a play by play of the night through pictures...so here it is!! (At 1 AM just for you Jill!!!!)
First we started the night at Pepper Bellys for some dinner

with Jill, Em, Me, Chantelle and Sadie

Sadie ditched us for the movie ... but the rest of us headed to Kaysville Theater for
"Confessions of a Shopoholic." It was a cute funny movie ...just a good excuse to do something girly!

You would have thought we'd never been to Kaysville..or that we just love taking pictures...so we posed on the way out by the lamp post..Jill got some good ones on our way in, but I will just have to wait for those, so this will do for now!

Jill was driving and her and I were in charge of dessert for after...since our decision wasn't too hot by our followed car of Em and Chantelle...they chose Nielsons instead! Which the concretes I'd never turn down, they are YUMMY!!

(Sorry Em, none of the pics turned out with the workers in the background..haha!!)

Well, Em and Chantelle were too tired by 10:30...it was WAY past their bedtime...=) Jill and I weren't ready to go home, so after trying to think of something to do, the only conclusion we came up with was ANOTHER movie!!! We headed over to "17 Again" It was a cute, cheesy, but funny movie! Ned(was that his name?) was probably the most entertaining..right Jill??? haha...Oh, good times! We couldn't leave the theater without a pic to end the night, so this is the best we could come up with at midnight!

Seriously, I love our girly times!! I had so much fun tonight!! Thanks everyone! I think we got a little hyper, even the guy selling us our second movie tickets thought we needed to settle down..haha...we have to laugh to stay young, right???

ps...I still think we should have gone T.P.'ing...maybe next time???? =)

Just going through some pictures...

I am officially addicted to my new presets in Lightroom(thanks Nate!!!) and can't stop playing around with edits on my pictures... these are just a few I came across and thought they were cute! I love my boys and can't believe how big they are getting!!! They are more and more fun every day...

He got this for Christmas and is finally getting the chance to enjoy it! He loves to load up the trailer and head to the "job site" just like his dad...

Just lovin' one of his scooters, he likes to take any chance he gets to ride it around!

He will not put his feet on the pedals for more than a few seconds...he likes to push really hard with his legs/feet in hopes of being able to lift them and keep going without doing anything more...you just have to see it to get it I guess...=)

I'm not sure what look he is going for...but I'm sure Peyton had something to do with it! Except the boots, he LoVES to have shoes/boots on!! That one he will have to take complete credit for!
