...UPDATE...

a little dreaded if you wanna know the truth...this morning I had my check-up. He and I both hoping we had MAJOR progress, but low and behold, nothing too much. He did say I'm a 3 now, which is something. So I will be glad for that, just wish it had been a 4 or a 5! haha I can't complain, seeing how this little chica really isn't due for 13 days anyway. AND with Drew I went past my due date, can't expect much, right? My Dr. said he was sorry, but thought I'd make it till my next appt too. At least he was nice enough to be sorry! :) Anyway, just hoping she is healthy, that's all I ask for...even if she passes March 13th.
Not asking for a pitty party AT ALL...today I just feel extremely huge and the Dr. confirmed my swelling and puffiness. ha Such as the pregnant life, right? Well, there you have it for my not so exciting update! :) Till next Monday...

LiTTLe SiCK-iEs

I am hoping we are at the end of our sick week with these little boys. They have both had totally different things, so I'm hoping they don't catch what the other one has had. I just jinxed us last week when I was thinking that I couldn't even remember the last time they were sick...that's what I get for thinking! haha

One of their days being trapped inside our house :) ... They got as many stuffed animals as they could until I told them it was probably enough and watched a movie with them.
AND their FAVORITE thing to do is watch home videos, so last night was our movie/party night to do just that! We got pizza and made a "special" drink followed by treats! It is seriously so fun to watch the videos and also see their reactions to themselves when they watch them. They obviously didn't get enough because this morning that is all they wanna do again :)

I have to admit, I do like the excuse to just watch movies and veg with the boys when they aren't feeling well. But also can't wait till they are feeling 100% better and we can socialize again :)

Showered with *LoVe*

Thanks girls!!! Since I don't know when I'll have internet access tomorrow, I had to get this posted now :) Tonight my friends from High School had a shower for this little chica in the oven. Thanks Linds, Brooke and Ash for planning it and for all you did to get it together...and thanks to ALL the girls for coming and for the cutest gifts! You are all so sweet and thoughtful! Can't wait to put these cute presents to great use!
Most the girlies...minus Tami and Rochelle who came a little later. Should have taken another one, but we were busy just chatting the night away! Before we knew it, hours had already passed. Loved spending time with you chicas!
AND...thank YOU gals...Brooke, Lauren and Linds for being so sweet to guess almost right on for my belly size! :) haha Seeing how even my own was WAY off!
Ashlie posin' with the cutely damasked wrapped cupcakes and bear decor that Brooke made. Didn't want to forget how "cute" they were! :)
AND isn't this little girl so loved?!?! Look at how many fun things she got. Can't wait! OH and I think I will go ahead and enjoy my favorite STARBURST jelly beans, thanks to Brooke, who even got me the new flavored ones to try! They are YUMMY!

Seriously, thanks again so much for tonight all you gals! It was so good to see all of you and have a fun excuse for doing so! :) You are so sweet!

PS...for those of you who may be wondering, the cute clips in everyones hair and/or necklace was for a cute game we played, I know you love the looks we are sportin' :)

LoVe Time LaTeSt...!

Once again...the boys enjoying the "big tub"...AND bubbles!
AND sometimes these are my favorite days...an excuse to do nothing. Peyt started getting sick with a bad cold and etc. and sent himself to rest in his bed after lunch. Drew thought he'd follow along, which made sense cause he ended up ALSO getting sick that night with a fever. You know the boys don't feel good when they take THEMSELVES to their room for resting time :)
Coming out to find the boys sneaking up on me...in these sweet outfits! :) They are so entertaining. You would never guess they hadn't felt good, right?
THEN...TA DA!!!!! I FINALLY buckled down and got the material and such to make a carseat cover. I think I am just in denial of actually having a baby, let alone a girl! So my mom headed over after work and together we whipped this up! THANKS mom!!!
Isn't it so cute?!? I love it, too bad this little chica could careless! haha
And we hurry and threw together another burp cloth too! So fun to have so many fun, new and cute things for this baby! Lovin' it!

Should we be worried? :)

Ever since we had Drew and Peyt's cousins, Madi and Claire come over...Drew has asked to watch this over and over. Okay, it's not an addiction, like every day....BUT it has been on more than a couple occasions. :) Do your boys like to watch these shows? Peyt hates when he chooses to watch it...guess that's where they're different! haha

AND weekly update:
Dilated to a 2+ but the effaced stayed the same. Now just to decide if we want to be started anywhere up to 7 days early? For some reason, I don't like to pick the birthday for my kids. I'd rather they come when they are ready, but seeing how that hasn't ever ended up being the plan...maybe we should just prepare and choose a day? Only time will tell I guess and we'll have to decide eventually. Until then, this little Love is right on schedule to make it's way here :) Wish us luck these next 3 weeks! :)
AND to our sweet Moms and Grandmas who have asked for a phone call on our way to the hospital. Sorry, but once again it will probably be a secret to everyone until after the arrival :) We're hoping we're lucky enough to keep it that way anyway. I just hate deciding who gets to know first, this way we take care of that until after she is finally here. Thanks for understanding! No need to worry, you will know when she arrives. :)

ToDaY...

AND the other day... :)
We got to have Sam and Eli come play for a little bit and this was the first thing they did...haha Looks like our boys aren't the only ones that LOVE Rock Band! Way cute!
TODAY I finally gave in and let the boys go enjoy some snow...for a minute...Drew has ALWAYS loved to eat the snow. It's disgusting to me, but he think it's great. Oh well! :)
Peyt loves to help shovel off the driveway
Then Peyt ran in to tell dad he had something to show him outside...haha it was us ready with snowballs, but dad definately put up a fight! haha None of us got away with it without Dad getting us back.
Nice that we had some snow to play in, but not so nice is the dirt underneath the LITTLE bit of snow we had...made for some dirty snow and not so much help in being able to make a snowman. But we DID TRY, that counts, right?
AND Drew LOVES Nacho Libre...he always asks Peyt to do the "Squeeze" with him. hahaha a little blurry, but you get the idea. These boys are nothing but entertainment, I love it!

Last but not least...Peyt had "SiLLy SoCk" Day at school today. I tried finding some, but no success at the stores, so this morning he reminded me it was today so we headed for his bedroom...came up with his soccer socks and he wanted to put suns all over them. I painted them on with washable paint, but when they got on his legs it kinda stretched them out and made them look a little more like stars. Oh well, it was cute and he loved it!

HaPPy VaLenTinEs DAY!!!

...a day late :) But better late than never. We had such a fun day, the boys woke up and got their little Valentine gift (which btw, thanks Erin for helping me realize they didn't need that many things, I took a couple out to save for later) Anyway, then as soon as Tys left for work, the baking of his FavoRiTe CaKe(Red Velvet) began! Then Peyt was all about getting decorations up! He wanted them EVERYWHERE, but then I talked him into just settling for the kitchen. We ran some errands to wrap up our Valentine dinner surprise, went to the park with friends, got a surprise visit from Grandpa Rich who delivered Valentines for the boys and then enjoyed a yummy chinese dinner, chatting and Rock band with our next door neighbor friends! It was so much fun spending the night with them and our little family! We had a great LoVe DaY and hope you did too!
The boys LOVE surprises, I think that's why I love Holidays and an excuse to get them something fun!
Tys and his yummy cake, choc. covered strawberries and a little Kettle Corn for snacking.
I thought we'd get a pic of our little holiday decor...and Peyts cute hearts that he put all over the walls! I can't believe I didn't get one picture of our night, I was slacking. OR we just had too much fun to even think about it. Thanks Hadlows for coming over...can't wait till next time! :)
AND I forgot about this pic, the boys and their HUGE STRAWBERRY Valentines from Grandma and Grandpa Bruce. They were loving it! Thanks!

LaTeSt...AND LoVin' IT!!!

The boys LOVIN' their bath time in the "big" tub! They will stay in their forever and just lay down, enjoying the warm relaxing water...wish I had time to do that! :)

On Thursday Peyt had his Valentine party at school...they made these cute packets to hold the Valentines in. After school Jaxon came to play and I wanted a pic of Peyt with his Valentines and he wasn't much up for it, but Jax was...I thought it was a entertaining pic! :)
AND that same day Tys went to check the mail and found a letter for himself! Peyt was so excited for the surprise he had mailed to his dad from school the day or two before. So cute!
Yes, I am a dork, but I wanted a pic with the heart thing going on...probably cause our last name is Love...it fits :)
Tonight my sister in law, Jill, put together an AWESOME baby shower for this little chica! She had the cutest decorations, yummy food (with help from my mom, em and Katie? I think...) THANKS EVERYONE for helping and coming, it was so fun to spoil her!

How cute is the decor?!?! She is so creative!

Thanks Ladies for a great night!!!
had to get pics of all the guests and the yummy food...which also included lettuce wraps, rolls, and a veggie tray! YUM! :) Guests...Katie and Ashley
My step-mom Shannon
The jazz twins...Katie AGAIN! haha jk and Amorie
My neighbors and great friends from the old HooD! :) Misty and Jamie with Karli and little Jake
What a GREAT surprise! I had been meaning to ask my mom about my blessing dress, and kept forgetting...AND she brought it tonight, fixed up and washed! It is going to be perfect!!! I am SO excited to use it for our own little girl!
Well, this little bear SURE stole the attention tonight :) My sweet Grandma Kaye gave it to our little babe and even named it "Olivia" probably cause it was the 2nd option for us, but I don't think it will go through. I think she did it mostly for Tyson, to make him happy...cause that is his name choice :)
Look at all the goods from how spoiled this little one was tonight! Lucky little girl will be fashionable and cute as ever! THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!
See, Emilee even dressed "Olivia" in one of the Newborn outfits to see how it'll fit...
and my grandma had a hard time even giving her away :) Love you Grandma!
Jean and Steph
Wow, little Olivia again! Really, it's just funny...so you should laugh :)
and this cute as heck board for holding the bows! Perfect, cause I was wondering what I was going to do with them :)
AND even the entry had cute decor, so we needed a pic of it too!
Thanks for coming everyone and for those who couldn't come, we missed you tons! So much fun going on lately in enjoying our boys, getting ready for this baby...it's hard to not just sit back and enjoy these great moments and let it all soak in!

CheCk-UP

Well, well, well...today we went to the Dr. for our last peek at the baby. She is healthy AND an estimated SIX LBS right now. (Obiviously it's give or take a 1/2 pound...but STILL) So by delivery the baby could be around 8 LBS! I think it this is what happened with Peyt though, I think he measured the same and so by the end they thought he'd be too big so that's why they started me a week early. I think we'll still just let this baby take it's time and come when SHE is READY. As for the plan, so there is no surprises... :) Cause we don't want hurt feelings, the baby being born will yet again be a secret till AFTER she arrives so that we can make sure we get that time by ourselves with our little family and during labor. It was perfect with Drew that way, so we're up for it again! Anyway, here are the stats from today...even though I know only my sista Erin is probably the one wondering :) I can still look back and remember if I want...

65% effaced
1 1/2 for Dilation
AND baby is head down ready for labor!

So here's to wishing us a happy last 4-ish weeks and hoping to be comfortable, if not, at least I know I will be soon with our little gal in arms!

PS...THANKS for all the nice words on the last post. But I promise you that picture doesn't do justice, but the scale at the Dr's sure did today! :) Love ya girlies for trying to be so nice :)

35 WEEKS!!!

Oh my my, where has this time gone?! :) I am laughing looking at this pic, because I just don't think there is any way to make a not so flattering pic magically look flattering. Changing it to non-color helped a little!
Anyway, I am feeling like such a wimp this pregnancy. Today during church I kept getting all these cramping burning type feelings. I would get up and walk around a little bit to try and help. and Googled the symptons right when I got home. Mostly it said to rest and if they didn't go away then to call your Doctor. So Tys headed to my moms for the superbowl with the boys and rest, I sure did. It was heavenly :) and I feel much better. BUT AM WONDERING if those symptoms have been normal for any of you that read this? If anyone does. haha I just get scared, I don't want to have that early of a baby...I want a March baby! :) So am hoping it doesn't symbolize something happening any sooner.
Anyway, I can't believe I am this far along. Pregnancy is so beyond words to me. Every time I feel this little baby squirming around, the ripples and kicks...it puts me in awe thinking there is a human being growing inside me! I will take all those kicks and then some in hoping for a happy healthy baby. Can't wait to meet her! Peyton keeps asking if March is close, because he is so excited for this little one to be born. So cute.

HaPPy 8 YeARs AND counting!!!

Just thought this would be fun! SINCE today, February 5th marks the 8th year from our FIRST daTe...I thought it was worth remembering! Not that these pics our from our first date, but they are from our short 4 months OF dating. It is so funny to look back at these and realize how much we really have aged! Well, to remember...our first date, wasn't actually a real "date" I guess. Tyson had asked me out for a Wednesday night, but I told him I would be going to Institute if he wanted to come with me. He had class so we met up at Weber and went to an Institute up there and then he asked if I wanted to grab a bite to eat at Training Table(barf o RAMA!) haha I do not like that place, but told him I'd go with him while he ate. I remember he got a salad and licked the little ranch cup clean! We talked about lots of stuff...and he gave me the famous question "where do you want to be in the next five years?" After dinner, we hung out in his truck talking some more...and realized how much we had in common with seperated/remarried parents, tons of siblings/step-siblings and so on! I went to get out of the truck and he asked me on a 2nd date, I said sure and he used the "commitment program" and wouldn't let me out without setting an actual day. So he asked me out for the following Friday and we were inseperable ever since. I remember after that first date, I called my mom on the way home passing through South Weber and said "Well, I just went out with my husband!" A little soon to tell, but I guess sometimes you just know! It was a love story ever since :) Okay, we've had our share of hard times, but I love him more today than ever!

Love you sweetie and thanks for making me commit to that second date! :) I owe you!

HaPpY HaPpY BiRthDaY...AND...

I'm so on a roll! Look at me still blogging with this slow as ever internet! Anyway...guess we'll start off with an "AND" :)
So Tys is back on his P90 routine and almost every day, the boys head down with him to join in. I thought it was hilarious going down and seeing them doing it too. They don't last the whole time, but it's impressive how good they are! :)
Here's the Birthday! Grandma Julies bday isn't today, but since Jaxson and Kinsey were in town we decided to celebrate today. So a very Happy Birthday to Grandma who is turning 50 next week! Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate!!! :)
I think the kids only see the frosting on the cupcakes...they don't seem to get any further than that.
and fun for those who stayed for a little Rock Band. Tys decided just before the PART-AY that we needed the Beetles edition and ran to the store, just in time to find a great deal and be back for us to enjoy :) I think the kids love playing just as much as anyone else. Peyt has been asking almost every day to get it set up, since we didn't play at all while we lived at moms, he was ready to break it out and entertain!

Jaxson very focused and Kins enjoying herself :)
THEN...we got to have Claire and Madi stay to play while their mom and dad took the Jazz tickets for their anniversary. This is where I last left them while I came up to blog :) AND check on little Claire who decided it was time for bed.
Anyway, nothing more fun than pics and nothing feeling better than NOT being behind on blogging! :) Hope you are all having a great weekend too!
