...a day late :) But better late than never. We had such a fun day, the boys woke up and got their little Valentine gift (which btw, thanks Erin for helping me realize they didn't need that many things, I took a couple out to save for later) Anyway, then as soon as Tys left for work, the baking of his FavoRiTe CaKe(Red Velvet) began! Then Peyt was all about getting decorations up! He wanted them EVERYWHERE, but then I talked him into just settling for the kitchen. We ran some errands to wrap up our Valentine dinner surprise, went to the park with friends, got a surprise visit from Grandpa Rich who delivered Valentines for the boys and then enjoyed a yummy chinese dinner, chatting and Rock band with our next door neighbor friends! It was so much fun spending the night with them and our little family! We had a great LoVe DaY and hope you did too!
The boys LOVE surprises, I think that's why I love Holidays and an excuse to get them something fun!

I thought we'd get a pic of our little holiday decor...and Peyts cute hearts that he put all over the walls! I can't believe I didn't get one picture of our night, I was slacking. OR we just had too much fun to even think about it. Thanks Hadlows for coming over...can't wait till next time! :)

Cute decorations and yummy treats! I saw a recipe for red velvet recently. It was basically choc cake, with 3 bottles of red food coloring! I thought that was interesting.

We seriously had SO much fun with you guys. We will have to have a repeat performance SOON, but we'll let YOU be the singer! Ry's a little to angsty for my taste;). Your house was decorated so cute, and the cake was really yummy.
