As Good As It Gets...

at hour house anyway... Today Peyton was able to dress up for Pre-School. His choices he gave himself for this year are a Fireman, Cowboy, Church guy(?), and a Concrete Worker like his dad. Well...today the winner is A Concrete Worker. Lets just say our family isn't too into getting all dressed up. At least Tys and Peyt would rather be the ordinary every day things. I can't complain, it makes it SUPER easy for me! A church guy is what Peyton brought up last night and said he wanted to be. I asked him what that meant, and he said "I wanna wear white!" Kinda cute if you ask me! But as he saw his dad leave this morning, it must have triggered him back to wanting to be a worker like his dad. So here he is! ....A Parsons hat, his Carhart Coat, his choice of "work pants", and his concrete boots!!!

SiLLy SunDay AND RouND TWO!!!

Well for the 3 people that might read my blog...hopefully you are enjoying our fall pictures! =) If not for anyone else, at least I know the Grandmas appreciate so many updates!! haha
As for yesterday...the boys entertained themselves pretty much all night while Tys and I just had a good laugh!
Yes, they wore these shorts on their heads running around laughing at eachother...too funny!
and this might just be what you see Drew in for Halloween...I couldn't him to even get near the Monkey costume, this is the only thing that made him happy!

THEN...last week at the Black Island Farms, we didn't have time for Peyt to play in the big blow up Pumpkin, so I promised I would take him back. Seeing how today had the highest temperature of the week, we decided to go for it and headed over AGAIN! =) And it was nice, we got there right at 4 and had the place practically to ourselves!

The Pumpkin...he only enjoyed it for a min and it was the whole reason for going back! Of course...
Train ride...they LoVEd it!

Drew, of course, jumping around...that's what the hay is for right? haha
Peyt was so glad I was taking ANOTHER picture~ Can't you tell? This is his "cheez!"
Once the tractor started, they were so excited!

His pumpkin choice!
and Mr. Drews!

We had so much fun there...we even had to run home and the boys were ready to go back for more slide time, so we headed back just after 6 and it was crowded by then but we stayed for a little longer to watch the pig races and more slide fun, lucky for you my batteries were dead so I didn't get any more pics! =) Love this time of year and all the fun activities!

PuMpkiN WaLk...!

Since we ended up missing the plans for the Pumpkin Walk on Friday, (due to the memory loss of a Halloween Party)...last night after getting home from a fun Baby Shower, we loaded up the boys and headed on over! Well, let me just tell you that 9:00 PM happened to be a great time to go! No LINE!! We really had a lot of fun and there was some amazing talent put to work on a lot of those pumpkins! So here's to our fun night that is being shared with you! WARNING...I am SUPER indecisive, so there A LOT of pics!!!
Peyt LoVES Phineas & Ferb...but doesn't he look so big in this pic??? I don't want him to be growing up so fast! =(
Care Bears!

EDWARD!!!! (haha...no we're not really obsessed with him...just thought it made for a funny picture!)
Can you name these logos?? Impressive!!
This is how Austin posed himself for every picture by a pumpkin! So cute!
Peyton didn't wanna be in the pic...but hey this works! =)
Smokey Fire Pit...it did warm us up though!
I thought this was hilarious! He is too funny! ....just LoVin' his Cotton Candy! That's how he ate the whole bag!

Thanks Jamie for bringing your boys and coming with us, it wouldn't have been near as fun without all of you! Definately a redo next year!!! =)

DouBLe the FuN!

Last night was a little busy...First good Sadie reminded us that it was Fire Prevention night at the Farmington Fire Station where Tysons dad works. So we headed down there to see the Fire Engines, Ambulance, they had scones, ice cream, a bunch of stuff but we were in hurry and missed the life flight too! Maybe next year...we did get a couple pics though, First, us with Grandpa Rich!

then Cute Prez and Porter with Grandpa Too!

Then we hurried home for some more fun! Yep, we are that lucky! haha =) Anyway, to top off our night thanks to our friends who had invited us to go to Black Island Farms, where we REALLY got lost in the corn maze, crazy slide entertainment, ate yummy kettle corn and mostly just had TONS of fun!!!
Of course I couldn't choose just one slide pic, so here's most of them...

Thanks for such a fun night at the Firestation and Black Island Farms! We love this time of year and all the fun activities with great friends and family! Can't wait for next time! =)

ThiS AND...ThAt...!

Monday Tys came home with his deer! Well kinda, he thought it'd be fun for the boys to see them before they went to the Butcher. So we met up with them in Farmington and snapped this...here are the hunters, the boys and the deer. Gross if you ask me! =) haha...still glad the boys got to see what their dad dedicated the weekend to.

Monday was also the last night of Taylors(Tysons brother) HS play "West Side Story"...he did such a great job and has amazing talent! So yea for Taylor and another successful play! Here is a pic of him with his cute mom and dad after his ending night...

I thought this was fun for them- My sister Em invited us to go with her to Story time at the Syracuse Library...they obviously read stories and then had a cute craft. It was fun! The wands were entertaining for a minute and then Drew was done! Cute while it lasted! =)....(Just don't tell Tys he made a wand, and then actually played with it! haha)

AND...a finished product! My mom and I sewed together this cute Car Seat Canopy for a friend who is soon to have a new little addition to their family! Thanks mom for all your help!!

ReLaxiNG SUNDaY...

Well, how lovely is it that my sweet little Drew was still not awake at 8:45 am when church starts at 9?? So I open his door to try and wake him, after about 5 minutes it works(he is my sleeper, that's for sure!) we scramble to get him ready and fed...finally making it out the door and to church about 9:15(remember I am solo with my cute boys while their dad is hunting). Out of the car we start to walk inside and Drew starts throwing this huge tantrum, honestly like I have never seen, especially at church! =) He wanted a nutri-grain bar, which I had for him, but it had broken in half and he was showing it to me and trying to put it back together, if you've ever tried putting one back together...you know it's impossible! haha So he then throws himself on the sidewalk crying, kicking and screaming. Really hilarious now that I look back and remember the 3 people walking in and out of the building looking at me, then Drew and just smiling. Thank heaven, I probably couldn't have handled a dirty look. =) Well, needless to say we made it into sacrament probably about 9:30 after calming Drew with a simple piece of gum! Who would have thought!?! Church is over after 2 hours for building maintenance and it was great after the "episode" really can't complain...and we go home for lunch and naps!
With a little of this entertainment...they are creative and loved it! This is why we aren't buying new couches anytime soon! =)

What a good brother, of course Drew is the one in charge of re-setting the pillows! haha

Then, our thoughtful friends so kindly invited us for a night of feeding the ducks, throwing some sort of something off the trees in the water(bombs away if you will) haha, and back for a yummy dessert and good chats while looking at great wedding pics! =)

We really are so lucky and grateful for all of our wonderful friends we have here in our neighborhood, couldn't ask for any better.

So yes, for us, a nice relaxing Sunday while my hubby is away...soon to be home! We can't wait! =)
