S.O.D

As we have been preparing for sod FOREVER...yesterday was FINALLY our day!  We were a bit worried on the help we would get because there were conflicts with the ward. But Tys, of course the postivie one, told me not to worry. He said we would have plenty of help. So when I took off for a donut run, there were a couple people here. I bought 3 dozen doughnuts.  As I pulled up to our house, I could NOT believe the cars and could not believe that my yard was FLOODED with people. I was gone about 20 min and my front yard was almost complete! I couldn't help holding back the tears. I was honestly completely humbled.  So thankful for all these people who took the time from their own day to help us. The Sod drivers said they could not believe how quickly our sod was layed or how many people we had to help.  They said they have NEVER seen something like that.  We are so thankful for each person that came. THANK YOU!!!


Here's to the start of finishing our yard! MUCH more to come...some day! :)

Lately...

 So we headed down for a day in Salt Lake...got our Season Passes redeemed, oil changed and headed to City Creek! AWESOME!!!

 Sadie joined us for lunch too!

 and Grandma Debbie spent the day with us! So fun to have hers and Sadie's company!

Weekly CATCH up!

I feel like I never even get on the computer anymore! But need to at least keep up on doing a weekly post...so here is something!
Last Sunday before church...so...their Easter Sunday pic! It works :)
and then we had our first Firepit/Dance party of the year! AWESOME! ha Many many more to come!
And then on Monday this band performed for us, they are the Furious Jazz and are so amazing! haha They sang a song they made up about getting seat #1 on the bus and how they love Sports!
We had Carston over for his big #17! happy birthday!!!

and the oh so fun "craft" group monthly night out! ended at Yogotogo! Seriously needed this break more than these gals will ever know and it was perfect. Thanks for getting the plans decided Holly! Love them!
We started with only a few of us at a Thai food Restaurant. It was so YUMMy! My first time eating it and loved it.

"Deadman" are back and going strong with only 4 players and they won 3-0 ha Peyt was a little too happy!

and Drew decided to give Kinlee some ice cream and a spoon. ha well..she enjoyed it till I caught her!
Sprinklers ALMOST done...CHECK! It was freezing outside and that didn't stop the boys from wanting to play in them while testing em' out! ha

and Drew picked out his new shoes (this is old, but I just noticed I hadn't posted it) He was so excited and calls them his black batman shoes :)
Well there ya go...a little update!

Easter Morning!

Peyt was expecting a basketball hoop for the new bball pad. The Easter Bunny wasn't THAT generous this year, giving the hoop to also go on the pad. haha Peyt didn't understand. But it was nice going simple this year...
We didn't even take a pic, but Peyt got an awesome Jazz Poster! Kinlee wasn't having the picture time at first...
But then she warmed up a little
Happy Easter! I'm a loser and didn't get a pic of their hunt! Oh well, I guess I got those on the other 5 hunts we have done. haha Hope you all had a great Easter morning too!

um, don't know why we are all dressed in black with TP, just happened to all coordinate I guess...so weird! hahahaha I'm still laughing from it! That was soooo much fun!
