A FuN night with ThE LaDiEs FOR MikELLe...!

On Wednesday a few of us got together for a little dinner at Mikelles choice of Applebees...and then back here for a movie, treats and nail painting...for some reason nobody is ever hip on the face masks, so I guess I'll continue to save those for me and my mom! haha

We thought the giftcards were pretty cute, so for some reason we took pics with those but none of her other cute gifts! Kinda funny!
I think our waiter had a crush on Mikelle...he was flirting with her every time he came back...it must have been her curls!! =) And thanks to all of you that could make it, we missed those that couldn't!!! We are SOOO sad that Mikelle is moving and wanted to fit in a little shower before she was gone...and I'm glad it worked out, cause it was another fun memory we'll have when Mikelle is happily residing in Baltimore...? =) Love ya Mikelle, we are going to miss you!!!!!!!!!!!

A FeW things to SHaRE...!!!

FIRST...Can I say HEAVEN?!?!?

Tys came home with these yesterday from his payroll company...YES, these ARE my FAVORITE!!!! They taste JUST like my Grandma Kaye's homemade ones, and since we don't get to spend Christmas with her and I miss out on them...I now have a whole package to enjoy!!!!! Don't worry, I think I've already eaten half the container and the rest will be gone all too soon!

Then...I love Christmas cards and am so excited about ours this year! I was going to do them through Walmart, but thought this was even better! After expalining a little of what I'd like, this is what Jenn came up with and they are PERFECT!!! I seriously love the design! Thanks to her!! If you want her to whip something up for you too, I'm sure she'd love to! It only took us a day to get the example back, we just sent a picture to her and she got right on it! Her email is jennfrew@yahoo.com---maybe one day I will be good at this kind of stuff and will be able to make our own! Until then, thanks to her!!



Last of my post...last night I went to check on Drew...I always do before I head to bed, and this is how I found him!

Too cute!! He has been getting out of bed ever since he figured out how to open his door...but we put a child lock on it and I guess this is just what satisfied him instead! =) Love it!

SNOW SNOW and more SNOW!!!!

Yea! Peyton was so excited that right when he walked in the door from school he asked if we could play in the snow! Of course, I had been shoveling all morning trying to make some sort of a "sledding hill" for them!! At the end, I realized I wanted some pics, so I grabbed my camera and while it stayed somewhat dry, snapped a few pics! It was fun, the boys LoVED it!!!!!!

We are loving the snow and just wish I had taken the time to find the good gloves...our hands were freezing by the time we were done!! Now...just need to make a snowman and we might be complete! Peyton did mention we could get a carrot out of the garden for the snowmans nose....hmmmm.. I said laughing, "um, Peyt, we don't have a garden.."

MoM AND DauGhteR time...!!

My mom won tickets to go see "It's a Wonderful Life" down at Kingsbury Hall...and luckily I got the invitation to go with her! We had lots of fun, and it was honestly so good...just wish I had that talent!! =) Thanks mom for some time together, I loved it..it was like our old snow cone days!! haha

We got FRONT row! It was fun to get splashed by the water from them jumping in, you can see where my mom got wet! Nice seats..FOR FREE!!!
Do you recognize him?? I didn't...but my mom knew exactly who he was. Peyton loves the Testaments movie, so I asked if we could get a pic with him to show Peyt we saw him in real life! =) He was excited and wanted to go watch it right when I showed him.

Okay, so I bought this swimsuit recently from Layers Clothing(recently as in I received it about a week ago). To back myself up, I have gotten their XS swimsuit in the past and so I saw this at a good price and figured I'd get the same size. ANYWAY, when I received it, it was WAY too small for me!! I emailed them about it, and they said this particular swimsuit runs small in the top. Well, too bad for me, it's super cute and I just wish it fit! Maybe I do need to hit the gym a little more...but for now I figured I'd try and find it a new home until that happens I guess! haha SO I am selling it for $25, if you or anyone you know is interested, let me know! I just hate returning things when I found them at such a great price...as some of you experienced from my Black Friday Deals...I buy and then find the item a good owner! haha Hopefully it will work for someone! It's super cute!!!!!!!

We SeRiousLy LoVE our time we get to spend with the family in Park City, thanks to my mom and Bruce for making it possible! So here's a few fun pics from the couple days we were there...

Creative Grandma made a cute craft for the kids...they loved it! And that made for our fun little getaway! Peyton can't wait to go back up! (and honestly...neither can I!!) =)

The BOYS...!

This is how I catch them almost every time watching the tv upstairs...on their tummies and hands under their chins. I think it looks super uncomfortable...but they love it!


At school Peyton got to celebrate his Half Birthday, which wasn't really his half b-day, but he still enjoyed it. They put up this cute cake for them, and the only way I got him to take a pic by it was because I had surprised him when I picked him up from school with some of his favorite friends in the car! He loved that and said I should do it more often! haha Oh and don't you love his huge jacket?? He REALLY wanted to wear it, so whatever, right?



Then last night, we had tithing settlement. This is what Peyton wanted to wear to go see the Bishop. He had to have a picture, and the only way he'd do that one was to do it with his dad. Too funny! and this is Drew saying "cheese!" It's hilarious...but that is little Drew for you! =)

Yea!!! Tonight I got to go see it! I don't read the books, but from what I hear it makes the movie that much better anyway! =) Then I don't know what I'm missing out on. I really don't like when the movie ends...I just keep hoping it will go on and on!!! Lets just say I can't wait for the next one, I am DEFINATELY hooked!!! I think I need to thank our friends that got us there, otherwise I don't know when I would have seen it! Maybe I could have done without all the teenage girls screaming...but I guess it added a little fun-ness to it all! Really though, who wouldn't agree with me that there is nothing but LoVE for New Moon?!?! =)

A Little Bit of my HeaVen...

Last night Peyt asking if he can go play in the snow...and me thinking how much I loved playing in the snow when I was little, building snow caves, sledding, and snowball fights...now I get to do that with my own little boy. We threw on some snow gear and we were off to play outside.

We shoveled up some snow off the grass and made this HUGE sledding slope! haha...I know it's little, but he loved it once it smoothed out!
Us on our "snow hill"...He said "Is my face funny in that picture mom?" Funny? I think it's cute!

Drew randomly waking up a little unhappy but calmed as I held him and rocked him, since Drew NEVER lets me do this...I was yes, in part of my "heaven."
I absolutely love my boys and the time I get to spend with them, after playing with Peyt outside and then snuggling with Drew, I realized this is what a little bit of my bliss, excitement and heaven is. I loved it...and soaked it in.

And to include my wonderful husband...we had such a fun weekend together (thanks for watching the boys mom) and he is the greatest. How did I really get so lucky??? Sometimes you don't realize your luck until it's been too late...I'm glad I have figured it out sooner rather than later!

I think I just can't believe that this is just what I've wanted to do my whole life, be a wife and a mother...sometimes it can definately be hard, but I am loving it...Really a dream come true. I love being a family, so here's for sharing a little bit of my Heaven.
