Letting THEM ChOOsE...

and then some...actually comes first :)

Drew celebrated his Birthday at school! He was so excited! He picked out the carmel apple taffy's to give out as his treat.
then cute Hadlee came by and gave Drew a present since she missed his party. Thanks Hadlee!
We took dinner to the neighb's together and decided we'd make some for ourself and eat together. So we had a yummy picnic dinner on some lovely grass with our Hadlow friends!
Krew liked taking off her headband and trying to help her in getting it back on. haha cute!

and YEA!!! I finally got to meet my newest nephew! Baby Pickett! Who I am not sure if he has a name yet. I was given a maybe, but won't put it on here until he is officially given it! haha Cutest little baby huh?

and So today I thought or realized I think I decide for the most part what we do each day. SO today I decided that I would let the boys each chose one thing that they really wanted to do and we were going to do it :)
Drew (in his all buttoned up shirt!...ha cracks me up!) chose to make a Big Red cake like dads! haha Which is aka: Red Velvet. It's actually one of the cakes Drew wanted for his Bday, but since he didn't get it, he must have still been thinking about it :) Cute boy! He LOVES cake!
Peyt chose to go on a walk on the trail. He's been wanting to do this forever. So we hurried and packed the bikes in the car and headed for a little walk before soccer today. It was fun! Thanks Peyt!
and....we came in from playing for the night and I hear the water running and running...and running. I go in to find Drew like this :) haha He was cleaning his shoes. I told him I would clean them so they wouldn't be soaking wet, and he said "No, mom, I'm doin' it." He is hilarious! and has the best imagination ever! I love it!

So anyway, there is for a little post...I seriously am SO thankful for my kids and the time I am blessed with them. Honestly. I couldn't ask for many things better than a great husband and such cute kiddos who I love!
