DiSneYLaND!!!

BEST IDEA/SURPRISE EVER!!! So Tys and I have ALWAYS wanted to just wake the boys up one morning and tell them we were heading to Disneyland. We never have been able to keep it a secret before, so we were proud of ourselves! haha and We figured now was our best chance at doing it, seeing how we had such great deals AND since we'll be adding another little one to our family, we aren't sure when we'd make it there again. The boys have been super lucky being able to go so much and we can only hope we can handle taking a 3rd one SOME DAY too! :) It was so fun to go with just the 4 of us and enjoy one last little vacation together before our family grows...perfect timing(minus me being 7 1/2 months prego...haha)!
the boys ended up in our bed that morning so this is right before we woke them up to tell them to get their Pirate Sweatshirts on and handed them their Disneyland tickets. They were both so excited, but I think Drew won for showing the MOST excitment! :)
Arriving in Cali...and the sweatshirts were off! Such nice weather there! Last year we ended up getting rained on and wearing ponchos, so we were glad to have the sun the WHOLE time!
The first day we headed to the Beach...it was perfect!
The boys couldn't wait to get their shirts off and play in the water. We didn't pack swimsuits, but looks like we should have! They would have stayed all day.

At first Drew didn't want to see the characters...last year he was sneaking up the line to say hi. A little more reserved this time and picking his nose in half the pics :)

After riding one roller coaster and not REALLY enjoying it...(can't imagine why with this belly...haha) I decided not to ride any more of the fast ones. So Peyt got to go alone! They loved it. I think Matterhorn took first place for roller coaster loving though!
Every time Drew saw ANYTHING that had Buzz on it, he would say "that's me!!!" He really thinks he is Buzz, so cute.
So worn out...fell asleep during a shoulder ride and waiting for the shuttle.
and way to go Donald...he got them to smile pretty good.

California Adventure had an awesome World of Color show(I think that's what it was called)that was on the water. If you wanted amazing seats, you need to plan on being there an hour or more before.

We rode Pirates a million times. I don't think we waited in line once.
Gotta love Fireworks...they are my fav! Especially getting them in January.
How about it was after 10 pm, the boys had been going all day, Drew was almost asleep...then we woke him up for the picture. BUT HAD to have the standard pic in front on Mickey. Love how happy Drew was and I had to bribe that smile out of Peyton. :)
Worn out boys! They fell asleep on the shuttle and didn't budge after that.
The plane put him right to sleep both flights.
Peyt drawing the Hollywood Tower of Terror...he kept telling us the story "and there were five people that went into the elevator and then a storm came!" that's as far as he remembered, but I thought the picture was cute.
Home sweet home...almost...just waiting for Grandpa Steve to pick us up. We can't complain, the lines were great, the longest we probably had to wait for anything was 20 minutes. I think we'll continue always going in January or February...great weather and great crowds!

AND YEA...we got to come home to our new home! We are finally in!!! On the 14th we passed our inspection and moved in on the 15th. Still a lot of work to do come Spring and well, even today! Like a backsplash, unpacking boxes, hanging mirrors and closet rods...I don't think the list will ever end :) But that's okay, we are glad to be here and call it home. Pics to come soon!

A Little here and there...

First we had to have a close up of Peyt's hair...of course this is at the end of the day...a little messy! :) It's okay, we'll remember.

Whenever Drew hurts his hand he will hold it like this for hours, if not a whole day, even if he barely hurt it...so I had to get a pic cause it happened twice in one day. Exaggerated and funny...but he looks like one tough guy!

First coat complete, then our 2nd coat AND THEN the stain. Our countertops still need to be stained too. Can't wait!
FINALLY...our shower very delayed, finally complete too! It's so fun for us to see the progress!
and countertops...except...ta da they messed up! haha We are only supposed to have one sink in the master bath. I wanted AS MUCH counter space as possible. Looks like they forgot :) At least they will fix it.

C: CRaZy HaiR DaY!!!

Peyt's school got to go crazy with their hair today! Peyton is USUALLY such a reserved person, but not today, I was SO surprised! He wanted RED hair, cause it's his favorite color. So this morning we played with it and got some CRaZy spikes out of it and sprayed it red. Drew SAID he wanted his hair like Peyt's, but as soon as we spiked it he started crying and wanted it normal. After trying to comb through glue like gel, he then wanted it sprayed, I didn't dare do much to his hair, so he just got the front! I think it's cute and was fun to have Peyt be so excited about doing something crazy! At least only for a day... :)

Feeling a little BeTTeR...!

While looking through pics with Drew today, we came across this...

it is helping a little in my feeling hugeness days, well not sure that it's helping because I will eventually look like this anyway. Which right now I'm not sure how I can even get any bigger...BUT low and behold, it is OBVIOUSLY possible! haha and look at cute little Peyt, so excited to become a big brother in the next couple days. This was taken I think 2 days before we had Drew and one or two past his due date AND only a few days after we had moved into our home in Syracuse. Oh how time has flown! :)

AND....

Well, we definately won't be having another BOY...it was clear as day that this is a little GiRL LoVe!!! This was the cutest little profile pic, I'm glad they took it of her. Since I was probably the only one thinking it still might be a boy, I am the one who can rest assured that we are safe to keep her room PINK! :)

30 WEEKS AND COUNTING!!!

Wow! Well, if I really think clear back to June, that seems like forever ago...but when I look at today I can't belive we only have 10 weeks left till we meet our little baby! It has definately been crazy thinking about the time it took getting this little one on it's way and coming to the decision that this will probably be the last little LoVe addition to our family. It also makes it much easier to try ENJOY being prego, having this belly pop out, the heart burn, the oh so exciting weight gain (haha), breathing through the not so comfortable moments and letting the little AND big kicks last while being amazed at it too. Well, here's to this week where we will be entering the single digit weeks left and getting another peek at our baby :) We will definately keep you posted! and since we get asked all the time, I will give you the update that I THINK Kynlee/Kinlee is in the running for 1st place. But who knows, we might hear something else the day before and change our minds...that's what us girls do right? :) Unless of course it does happen to be a boy, don't worry, we are prepared with a name. It would be Rilen. Which would be fun too, our dads names combined, RIch+GayLEN= Rilen. You never know, maybe we will get to use it! haha I really thought that's the name we were using in the first place anyway :) Not thinking we'd REALLY have to come up with a GiRLy name.
One more thing I think is funny and have noticed a lot lately, which must also mean that you can tell I am getting huge...instead of people asking "How far along are you?" they have recently been skipping straight to "When are you due?" PRETTY good indication that my tummy(and myself) are growing! I hope that can only mean this baby is healthy!!! :)
Kinda funny, you never get to see how much your belly has grown until you take a pic! Wow! I can get through this one last time... :)

HaPPy New YEAR!

Seriously, life is going by way too fast! I can't believe it's already 2011! Not sure where the time has gone, but we'll try our best to enjoy it!
Last night, we got to spend time at Tysons grandparents since family was in town. (No pics though, I am really slacking!) Had yummy food and games AND then we got doubled with out of town-ers...Jay, Nachelle and their kids came over for snacks/treats and games. It was definately an interesting and eventful night. Taking a few hours to play only a couple games cause of our cute kids who seemed to need our attention :) haha It was fun and great to spend time with everyone. ALSO enjoyed very much my moms frosted grape juice, YUM!
