Perfect Family Weekend!

Jaxson and Kinsey invited all of us up to spend the weekend at her parents cabin. It really was perfect and SOOO nice to get away! We don't spend near enough time with them, which made it that much more perfect being there...We got there on Friday, and just hung out then on Saturday morning I got to enjoy a VERY nice run, I would run in that atmosphere everyday if I could! then we got to do lots of boating, eating and just hanging out. On Sunday it rained, which was perfect, it kept us all inside to just hang out together and play some games. Here are some pics...enjoy!
Swinging in the backyard...thanks for the push Grandpa Rich!

HaPPY 6th BiRthDAy PeYTON!!!

PEYTON JAY LOVE...
BORN on June 9, 2005 @ 5:30 PM and we are STILL the proud parents! :)
Peyton decided last year at his Construction theme Birthday that this year he wanted a golf one, I was so surprised that he followed through with it! This is as creative as I get when staying up till 2 am to get it all ready for when he wakes up! :)
Starting the day off with a Birthday cupcake! How about his sweet Grass Birthday Crown?! The other day he said "Mom, I think I need a Birthday Crown, do I?" Of course!! and then he had me help him spell on a piece of paper that day, "Peyton is the Birthday Boy!" so I threw that crown together.
Last night he asked, "do you think my room will be decorated when I wake up?" Well for sure! Since I started that a couple years ago, I gotta continue to live up to it! :) I LOVE it!
Favorite Birthday Breakfast! and Candle #2 at the early 6 am hour! :) He just couldn't sleep in longer than a little past 6!
Peyt and I dropping off the kiddos to Grandma so we could enjoy a special day together! Long over due and now a for sure for sometime again SOON! :)
Peyt and I at Lagoon. Worried about the scary sky we saw coming, but it only ended up sprinkling a bit. Not too bad!
convincing him to take a pic with me on Puff!
Well, we did it...went on the Log ride and I think we were the only ones! haha AND cute Peyt convinced me to ride it a second time too! How could I say no to him when it was HiS day!?! He loved every second and yes, we sure got wet....that's where my curls left my hair :)
We were in line for the kids swings and he saw the cars and really wanted to ride them. It was the only ride he would go on by himself.
He thought I couldn't see him :)
Then we headed back to Grandma Debbies to get the kids, open a couple presents (thanks!) head out to grab Pizza (peyts' choice) go home, eat and then Peyt went for a little Golf time with dad.
Candle #3...never too many on your special day, right?!
Drew was a little worn out from an exciting day...OR waking up at 6 am...he is NOT an early riser! :) He was asleep in two seconds from driving to Peyts tball game.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEYTON!

Peytons friends and cousins that came, or most of them :)
having fun with the new bubble machine!
Tate, Peyt and Porter...2 of his Best buddies! Peyt just wasn't havin' it for a smile. He was for sure a goof tonight!
This is such a bittersweet day. I am so happy for Peyt that he is getting so big but it's so hard for me at the same time. Especially today for some reason. We were able to have a Lagoon Date, just Peyt and I for his Birthday...it was seriously some of the best time I have ever been able to spend with him. I loved every second and only wish I had that much time every day to spend with each of my kids, to really get to know their personality and get to have amazing bonding time. He was so cute and would want me to take a turn choosing which rides to go on and you could tell he didn't want to make me feel bad for having to sit out of a ride if it was a kid only ride. I would suggest a ride and he would say "No, mom, I wanna go on one you can ride too!" and on the carousel, I told him to chose where he wanted to ride. He went straight for the bench seat...we sat down and I asked him if that's really where he wanted to sit, he said "um, ya mom." so I asked him if he'd rather sit on a horse that would move up and down and he looked around, smiled and said "okay, this one, and I will still be right by you mom!" So cute. Then on the bat ride, we had to put our bag on the OTHER side of the fence...our bag which had my wallet, our camera, car keys and well, just the most important stuff! I was kinda freaking, cause I didn't want someone to take it. So cute little Peyt just looks over and says "Do it mom, IT WILL BE OKAY!" Little guy with a huge faith and a pathetic worried mom. What I loved most of all was holding my little boys hand through the whole park and having him not wanting to let go for a second and sad to realize that this won't last long, that I won't be cool to him forever...and getting to experience his joy in just being a happy little kid. He is so sweet, so caring and compassionate. As he got a few phone calls or gifts, he was quick to thank the person without me having to tell him. I love him so much and am so grateful he came into this world 6 years ago. I for sure know how hard it is to be a mom, but today made every hard moment worth it. LOVE YOU Peyton!!! You are one of my heroes, and such a great example.

HaPPy 8 YeaRs!!!!

...and we thought we were old then...

Woah! It seems like we are so old. but a Happy Anniversary to us! It is funny, one year we decided to head to California for our Anniversary weekend and stayed on the beach, went to six flags and enjoyed every minute. So the next year we went to Vegas, loved it too...then last year we went to Little America in Salt Lake for the weekend. It was perfect too AND then this year we went to dinner at the Cheesecake FActory with our favorite cousins while the boys had a weekend with Grandma and we stayed at the "Love Inn" hahahaha YES it's hilarious, because do you see the pattern...we are degrading every year! Guess that happens when you get older and older! I don't have other pics on this computer of our anniversaries...but this will do.
2005...WOW! Yes, I was rather huge and was having Peyt a couple days later. How funny!
2008-In Cali on the Beach at our Hotel
2009-VEGAS BABY!
2010- SALT LAKE CITY...can I get a what what?!?! haha :) It was so much fun!
2011- Dinner with other peeps! ha So funny...and how about all my hair color changes!
SOOOO...this year we did enjoy a delicious dinner kid free at the Cheesecake Factory. We went and got Kinlee came home and chatted with the neighbors for an hour or so then got all our treats and watched The Dilemma...it was okay, we thought it would be funnier. :) That was on our Anniversary Eve, since the real day is today, on a Sunday.
Here we are waiting to get Kinlee....we are just sooo cool, right? haha
We enjoyed a DELICIOUS breakfast, courtesty of, yours truley...Ashlee Love. Thank you... :)
and I told my mom we wouldn't be able to pick up the boys till later cause our checkout time wasn't till noon. hahaha I know, I'm funny... BUT last minute, we just couldnt' pull off the rebellion so we hurried and got ready and were just a little late to Sacrament where my sweet mom met us with the boys and enjoyed Sacrament meeting with us. THANKS MOM!!!
Just takin' a break from whippin' up a Romantic Spaghetti dinner, with the kids, eating at the bar...oh and no candles. Hmmm...guess it wasn't really romantic at all when you think of it... haha

After we ate an early dinner, Jaxson's fam and Grandma Julies fam stopped by and we played for awhile, then our little fam went on a walk...came home got the kids and bed and there you have it...our AMAZING 8th YEAR anniversary. It's just over rated these days! Okay, not really. But maybe next year when we don't have a new baby, we'll be more creative!

LOVE YOU my sweet husband who I could not be ANY more lucky to have. He is seriously my best friend. He has never judged me, but always lifted me up. He is the best example I could ask for. I have never seen him raise his voice, he is patient, kind and loving. He is amazing. I scored big time with this catch that pretended to be interested in buying a watch from me! He is the best! I LOVE you Tys and can't wait for the the million more anniversaries we'll have together!

Good Times!

could she really be any cuter??? I think not. I love this girl to pieces!!!

and my Drew Drew is so cute too! He has been falling asleep on the couch so much lately cause we are getting in bed too late. Tonight he said "mom, it's time for bed, see! the moon is out!" He loves his sleep!
and these cute guys love to fall asleep watching tv. :) Seriously, they are two peas in a pod!
UM...YES, that is Drew in his underwear! haha they were trying to re-make the puddles out back with the hose. Love these boys!!!
Good BBQ fun with some of our Best friends, the Burtons! We love and miss being so close to them! but so glad we made some time to hang out!!!
Drew was in time out and this is how I found him a couple minutes later...no wonder he was onry!
Drew LOVES his cousin Madi! He talks about her coming over almost every day, BUT she lives 2 hours away, so it's kinda hard. But this is what he picked out for her bday. and she wanted to use up all the stuff in her hair...we tried but still had some left over :)
