RAIN + LAGOON...IS STILL WHAT FUN IS!!!

***LOTS OF PICTURES***

Yesterday we went to Lagoon with the family for the day... It was PERFECT! Not even crowded and the weather was amazing, that is until it POURED completely on us!!! Well, we managed to stay dry from the rain, but some people were soaked from it. My boys would have stayed dry, until the puddles looked tempting...and then they gave in and Drew ended up with drenched pants! He had fallen asleep and when he woke up was shivering so we took his shoes, socks and pants off and my mom rang his socks out and then came A LOT of water!! SAD! So after a fun day, Tyson took Drew off to his dads (which is right around the corner) to dry off and we stayed and played a little longer...! It was such a fun day, we all loved going! Thanks to my moms work for dinner and for all the fun!
Oh and our new FAVORITE ride is WICKED!!! It was SeriOuSlY so much fun! It is funny when you have kids you start to realize that the fun you have doesn't come from your own satisfaction anymore, it comes from watching your little ones have enjoyment in their rides and getting to do it with them. Needless to say, we hadn't been on Wicked before yesterday...lets just say our Lagoon trip last year and for yesterday...we pretty much discovered the goods in Kiddie Land..!!!

Peytons first ride choice...loved it! (I would ask if it is making his tummy tickle and he would laugh and say "yessssss!!" He also had me hold his hand, it was cute, he didn't let go!)

We have yet to train Drew to look at the camera and smile EVERY time I need a pic...you can tell Peyton is pretty good at it! haha

A little of our Crew... we were in and out of everyone all day... (Sweet face Matt!)

Grandpa with Drew (you can barely even see him!)

Peyton with his cousins...Brooklyn and Camden

Cute little guys!! I loved they were such good buddies while we were there! (They always are, but this made for a cute pic!)

Thanks to Amorie for saving Drew from the rain...he LOVED it!!!

the start of the puddle games... they found any puddle, big or small (mostly Drew) and stomped away!!!

This is the best pic I could get, but wanted to see how wet he really was!! It was so sad!

more of them...!!

Braxton is like Peytons big brother, he takes such good care of him! I watched Brax put Peyton in his seat and make sure he was secure before he even sat down! Thanks my Braxton!!! He is so great!

Us on the "fish" ride...is what Peyton called it!

Peyton asked to go on this a million times... the "Dragon" ride was his name for it, maybe that is the name, I don't remember, but it was fun!!! I had to get his face during the ride, it is cute!

Probably heading to Park City...give them a car and that's where they'd go!

I told Peyton it was time to go and he said "but I just wanted a picture by this shoe.." I think he was stalling!! haha

Look at that face!!! He means business!

Well...you know I have plenty more pictures, but this will do for now! We loved going and can't wait, (well we can..haha) to go back next year! Lots of fun!!!

GIrls NigHt for a Happy Birthday to SadiE!!!

And it was all thanks to my mother-in-law, she planned it, but ended up being sick, so couldn't even come!! We missed her, but was glad cute Meredith could fill the spot! We started at Olive Garden for a yummy dinner, which btw, I basically created my own meal, and it was so good!! (Just telling you so that you know you can change almost any menu item to make it what you want...haha..it works!)

Anyway, then we had some time before the show started, so we walked ourselves to Gateway and had good entertainment on the way...

(like the smoking bum who took this picture...I was definately scared he might take my camera and run!)

Mer...say the words and I will remove it off my blog...but since this is one of your "poses" I thought you might like to see it...!!! Good times...haha

Sadie pretending like she couldn't get through the sidewalk....oh SADIE! =)

Remembering an awesome building...but without Mrs. Kinsey who didn't want to be in the pic..

A little Gateway fun...!

And the very entertaining pic, for us anyway...we got a good laugh out of it!

Back to the Capitol Theatre for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It was a cute show, but mostly our company that made it so fun!!

One last pic in the rain..thanks for cooperating girls! You know I'm a picture freak~~!!!

Happy Birthday to Sadie and thanks for a fun night out girls!!! (See I knew you would all love looking at the pics!!!) haha AND Thanks to Julie for spoiling us, we loved it!!!

The Day of our Birthday Boy!

First of all, Peyton did not want to do anything but sit at home waiting for his "Birthday" aka: party to start. I tried taking him to lunch or to do something fun all day, and he kept telling me he wanted to stay home. FINALLY around 3 I convinced him that we should go to Chuck-E-Cheese. After reassuring him over and over that the party would still come after we got home if he left the house, he decided it DID sound fun to actually celebrate his birthday! So off we were and played for a little bit. We came home and got ready for the party and celebrated his Special day! It goes by all too fast and I wish we could savor it a little more... he is loving all of his presents, but most of all his truck!! He keeps asking if I will be home when he gets back from filling it up with gas. He has loaded the back up plenty of times and says he has to go to work or is on his way to Park City. He has a good imagination, but learns most of it from his dad. Well, Happy Birthday to him and I'm glad I got to spend the day with him...AND that he still wanted to cuddle with me today even though he is 4 and told me he IS getting bigger now...=)

Bright and Early this morning....

Playing in his new "Hideaway"

I threw some balloons in his room and put a little decor up while he was sleeping, he loved it!

Good ol' jeep at Chuck-E-Cheese...I think it's their favorite!

I thought their faces were hilarious....I don't think they blinked the whole ride!

Our sweet ticket prizes... 790 tickets will buy you this...!!! haha

Peyton's little friend Porter stopped over with a cute present he picked out all by himself...Peyton loved it! Thanks Porter for being so thoughtful!!

Another loved present that Peyton got....of course, it's a tractor! =)

AND the famous little truck, it might be too small, but he loves these cars whenever we go to my moms, and we knew he would ABSOLUTLEY love having a truck like his dads and he would get plenty of use out of it!!!

He had to blow a few times, but he sure got them out!

Thanks to everyone for coming! Peyton told me he didn't want a friend party, just Grandpas and sometimes he would say Grandmas too...so this year we stuck with the family party....it was nice and relaxing. Next year we will step it up and do the friend thing...

(was this one I was supposed to choose Nate, Matt??? Ya, I think you said this was your fav??)

Drew just lovin' the cupcakes...or the frosting???? hmmm...

AND this is to you Aaron, a historic moment, He finally made it to one of my boys Birthday partys, late, but yes, at least he was here, right??? =)

Another one of Peytons presents, I think Drew enjoyed it for the both of them!

Okay, so Drew wasn't too happy to have to be riding in back, but it still made for a cute..or funny pic!!

Peyton had a hard time deciding if he wanted a truck/tractor party or a Pirate party... last week when we went to the store, he saw all the Pirate stuff and I think that made his mind up... he loves to watch Pirates of the Carribean...so maybe that's why he chose it!???

Happy Birthday my little Peyt!!! We love you tons and wish you would stop growing so fast! Thanks for you continuous entertainment everyday... if only you liked to go to bed at night...!!! haha...one day we'll miss that you want to hang out with us till all hours of the night, so for now, we will just enjoy it!

HaPPy BirThDaY PEYTON!!!!!

(This picture is from last night, I let him open his presents from his cousins, Logan and Cole...Thanks to them(and their mom) he LoVED his new books!)

I can't believe you are 4 today!! This time has seriously gone by WAY too fast! You are so much fun and make us laugh everyday!

This morning Peyt woke up at 6:38(normally he sleeps till AT LEAST 8!)...he came running out of his room so excited for his day! He walked out into the kitchen to find the kitchen table with his presents and a cute note from dad telling him Happy Birthday and gave him his very own coke! It was cute, since Tyson was already long gone for work, he wouldn't get to see Peyton open his presents(I can't make a 4 year old wait all day!!!)
The first thing Peyton said when he saw his presents was "I'm gonna wait for all the people to get here before I open them!" Well, that lasted about 2 minutes until he wanted to open just one, and then he said "just one more mom!" and then he said "just one more, it will be the last one, okay?" Love this little guy!

Some fun things that Peyton loves to do and his crazy sayings that make us laugh:

First, he is seriously so thoughtful of others...even this morning opening his presents, he said "When's Drew's birthday, so he'll get some?"

He ultimately LOVES to go work and golf with his dad. Whenever Tyson says Peyton can come to work with him, Peyton turns strictly business. If there is any other option for him to do something, he says "Sorry, I gotta go work today!"
As for golf, he will use anything as a golf club and anything as a ball...no JOKE! Ever since he was little he would grab whatever he saw and use it to his advantage of practicing...Drew is following right in his footsteps! Example: I remember Peyton grabbing a straw and one piece of a cereal like captain crunch...THOSE were what he used that morning for golf in the family room! Too CUTE..but creative, right?

Some cute things he's said lately:
"Mom, I want a piece of cheese...big ones, two ones!!" (He sorta does a dance and says it in a low voice, you just gotta hear it!)

Putting out his hand to shake yours "Nice to meet ya!" he also does this in a low deep voice, who knows where he gets this stuff from!

Yesterday "Mom does Jesus have a swing set?"

"Don't talk like a baby, talk like a mommy"

Hiding anything behind his back "I got a surprise for you!"

"I'm done for the day"

When you know he has to go to the bathroom, so I say "Peyton go to the bathroom" Peyton: "I can't, because I"m too tired"

There are so many more cute things I could write, but we'll save it! Anyway, Happy Birthday to our little guy! I really hope he has the BEST day!!!
