Days in life of a GraNdmA...AND simply time for good LauGhS...!

First...I guess LAuGhs...
this is what I get for trying to shower while the boys are awake...they decide unrolling the toilet paper (Drew) and taking it out in the family room to play with was definately fun while I wasn't paying attention :)
BUT then...while Drew was napping I came into the family room to find this...cute LittLe Peyton had cleaned up ALL the toys!!! Which was a lot... I said "Peyt, why did you do this all by yourself??" and he says "Oh, cause it was just easy." too cute! Thanks little guy! and then I told him he could choose any movie to watch since he was so nice to help clean up and he went and found 4 movies and said "you choose mom" So I, knowing exactly what he wanted to watch, I chose every other movie first and he said no to all of them, so finally I said "What about Batman?" and he said "that's what YOU choose? then I guess that's what we'll watch." haha
Peyt didn't last long, but Drew came right around and cuddled with his uncomfortable sleeping brother :)

On for Grandma days... I guess you never realize how busy a Grandma is on her so called day off, until you live with her that is! We started out the day by going to breakfast for Jills Birthday (thanks to my mom for planning it)and then her little guys came over to get watched and then more family came to visit and we all ended up having dinner together and...


throwing together a cake for Jill on her not so pleasant Birthday! Happy Birthday Jill, wish you could have stayed for GiRLy PamPeRing time!
and more laughs...while getting Peyt out of the tub and ready...Drew decided to throw all the BuBBles EVERYWHERE...nice. :)
WOW...more Grandma Days... Cute little August came over to get watched for a couple hours....
and more grandkids came to get watched by grandma...(and we had invited one of Peyt's Best little buds to come play-which he has been asking to play with over and over)
So, we had QUITE the crew...but fun it was!
Oh no, the grandkids don't end there! :) haha MORE fun with 3 more cute grandkids to come play and stay the night!
Hilarious! Drew LOVED going down the stairs...he got spoiled with plenty of rides!
and whatever, he thinks he is NOT done...lets just see him carry it all back up for one more ride down! haha jk Brax came to the rescue and took him for his last ride.

Oh and then those cute boys are enjoying their Mickey Mouse pancakes that Grandma so happily made them!

and temporarily the life of Grandma won't end until we are gone...Drew and Peyt seem to think they get their constant attention. But happy to report that Grandma and Grandpa do this all with a smile on their face, because Grandkids are their greatest joy!

WeLcomE....AuGuSt!!!!

Today we received the wonderful news that my Brother and his wife were able to sign the Legal adoption papers to add this cute little guy into their family! I just have to say how amazing adoption is and that it is nothing less than a miracle. Ryan and Amorie had only been on the adoption list for about 2 weeks when this couple found them. After about a year, they basically decided this little guy would be better loved and cared for if he was with a new mom and dad. Talk about perfect timing! It is amazing to me how he and most adopted kids somehow look just like their new parents!! Little August looks just like his new mom and dad!
Well, welcome to the family little guy! and Congrats Ryan and Amorie on their new addition!!! We love you!

Weekend FuLL of FavoRitE FUN!

On Friday our friends invited us over for yummy food(which was my fav!) and another favorite...campfire and SMORES!

Drew is soon to follow...no matter where we go, Drew finds a guitar and tries playing...sometimes he even sings along! Guess we know what he'll be doing in a few years~

A little LATE... time for bed...don't worry Drew wore those glasses all night, during his movie and fell asleep with them cause he freaked when I tried to take them off. So finally around midnight I slipped them off when he was sound asleep.
