Arrived in the Dominican Republic!

 and say what?! Yes, they made us buy a $10 each tourist ticket that got us out of the airport...yep, pretty sure they were just looking for one more way to make some money. Pretty hilarious actually. Actually smart!

 Way cool bridge on our almost 3 hour drive!

and...wow! K so this trip was a HUGE step for those that know me already know that. Going way too far away from my babies, somewhere foreign, AND for 8 nights! Anyway, needless to stay there was construction on this drive and it was not noted with signs where we should go. We got lost in a city called La Ramona. I started bawling because we were lost in a town, where seriously NOBODY spoke english, we had no service (or so we thought) and had no idea how to get out. Finally we asked someone and they called a friend that spoke English who told us to flag down one of these motorcycle taxis that you pay a couple dollars to show you where to go. He saved us and was such a nice boy, that didn't speak English either. haha :) It's a good story. Oh and this was after we got pulled over...for noooo reason. I was freaked out by this drive.
