FRieNd time...!

Another successful friend night...well almost! A little more drama, well okay a lot more drama then I would expect from these rough and tough little guys!! Oh well, they still had fun! Thanks for coming over and making it a fun night for Peyton! He is lucky to have so many friends that live so close!

I'm ON a ROLL...!

All these posts lately...maybe I am over doing it...haha! Anyway, tonight Tysons mom and Steve took the boys (thank you SO much!!) while I went to my moms for a GiRLs NiGHt! It doesn't matter what I am doing, but any time I get to spend with my mom, sister(in laws too) is time I definately love. I think there is nothing better than family or friends that feel just like family...Don't take advantage of them, you'd miss them one day if they weren't here. Like my sis in Virginia!! We wish she was here to enjoy the relaxing time, yummy lettuce wraps, toe painting, movies that mom laughs histerically at and just bonding girl time. Missed all you girls that couldn't make it!! Okay...well now time for our pics:

LETTUCE WRAP MISTAKE...SORRY!!!

If any of you enjoyed the yummy lettuce wraps...well there is an ingredient missing! My mom just informed me that the recipe also calls for 1 TBL of Soy Sauce, so add it to your list of ingredients! =)

To Grandma & Grandpas house we went...!

As my grandparents are getting older, having more complications and problems with driving at night, we don't get to see them much at family parties. I really can't even think of the last time I saw them this year except my brothers wedding in May. WoW! I didn't realize it could have been that long ago! Anyway, so we decided to give them a visit yesterday and drove down. They live right by the Jordan Temple, so Peyton was super excited to see the temple! Anyway...a couple pics we got so the boys can remember going down there, that's what a picture is for right, when their Great Grandparents are gone, the picture is what will help them remember who they were.

They had all these fun little felt activities and the boys loved them...for about a half hour, then they had some ice cream from Grandpa, then Peyt was done...ready to go see his dad who wasn't working too far away!

And even better...Drew's frown and Peyton looking scared for his life again. I guess that is my fault for not taking him to see them more often. It was good to see them and visit! Thanks Shan for the picture! =)

So these are just a few recent pics...I guess we need to find more to do, but the boys(all 3 of them) have had colds and coughs so we've stayed home a lot...but other than that here is some of our fun...
A night at my dads with a yummy Enchilada dinner...we are DEFINATELY missing more than half of our family that night!!!

A NiGhT for the DeRby CARS...!

Then last night our ward gave the Dad's a chance to race their finished product...



It was close, but sorry to say we were booted out pretty quick. I guess that's what we get for Tyson deciding 10 min before the race that he was going to finish getting his car ready..! You'd think with only 10 participants we'd have better odds...but they were against us... haha
and then the entertainment from the kids stole the cameras attention...
They were loving the stage and playing with the curtain...after a couple close calls, at least nobody ended up hurt! =)
Karli was trying to get me to take a pic of her and Drew and this was the final try...I promise he was happy in the other attempts that I didn't get on camera!!!
And cute Drew found his seat after another late night of Rock Band...!! It was fun, as always and we can't wait till next time!!!

Something Heart Felt...

While reading another blog I came across this blog: thegledhillfamily.blogspot.com. As I read their touching story of losing their adorable daughter who never even made it to her 1st Birthday. It made me think about how much we really need to cherish our children, to love them and enjoy every minute and chance we get to hold them, hug them or give them sweet little kisses. You can't help but tear up reading their blog and thinking of the heart ache this family must have gone through and continues to go through each day without their sweet baby girl. I am just so thankful to be blessed with our two hilarious, fun and energetic boys that keep us on our toes. We are lucky to have them here. What would we do if we never had the chance to be touched by these little angels, to hear their sweet voice or the sound of their giggling? They really are sent from above and here to bless our lives. So to just remember to cherish every minute with them, you never know if the chance will be there tomorrow....Love your little ones... =)

LoVE these GiRLs!!!!!!!!

So every once in awhile we will get together with our friends from High School...but Ash and Brooke have been great to plan almost monthly get togethers so we get to see eachother more often! and I LOVE it! Nothing better than going back to the funnest memories from back in the day until even today! These are some of my best friends that I will never forget! Love you girls and thanks for a fun night out!!!!!!!

Linds and I have always standardly(is that a word?) set the timer and taken pics in the car...clear back from the HS days! Mrs. Lindsay is prego with #4 due at the end of the month, she is SUpERWOmaN!!!!! Well, a great ending to a fun night!

Thanks to Brooke for the "FESTIVE" event..haha!!! It's always fun to see where we have come to today and watch eachother in our role of motherhood!! Where has the time gone!!?!?!
AND thanks to my wonderful husband who insisted I go even though he is SUPER sick and still being so willing to stay home with the boys...he is so great to let me go do fun things!

After MaNy ReQueSts....

Chicken LETTUCE WrAps!!!

SO EASY, but SOOO yummy!

3-4 Chicken Breasts or 1 LB ground chicken or turkey

1 TBL Peanut Oil

1/4 C Water Chestnuts (chopped)

1/3 C Green Onions

1/2 C Peanut Sauce

1/2 C Shredded Carrots

Heat oil, add chicken and stir fry on med-high till browned or cooked through. (OR my mom likes to cook her chicken first in the crock-pot and then stir fry) Then add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 min on med-low.

See how easy!?!? You will be making it all the time now like me! =) The Peanut sauce I could only find at Smiths, just an FYI..!

FINALLY!!!!

We got our computer back !! YEA! It has been kinda nice I have to admit, but it is also nice having it back! SO...finally...some updates~!
FIRST...most Important! Our energetic little Drew turned 2!!!!

We had a Mickey birthday for him, cause he seriously loves him! It was fun, this year we decided to do dinner for the fam which turned out great and did some prizes, karoke, a bouncer toy for the kids and just fun with good laughs! Thanks to everyone who could make it! We love that we have so much family around!!

My mom and Bruce were the last ones to leave the party, and every time they tried to sneak out the door Drew would get so sad! He even thought he was leaving with them and went and grabbed his pj's to head out the door! Too cute!

My sweet little brother loves taking pics, but somehow missed the ones of Drew blowing out the candles on his cake, so LUCKILY we had a back up with my moms cookie "card" and got some pics!

It is fun though just thinking that our boys go the same DR. that Tyson had when he was little! Tys was one of his first patients!

And he'll just keep growing! We seriously love him so much and he definately keeps us entertained constantly! Some of his favorite things are: Mickey, teasing his brother, frosting!, the middle of the Oreos, Spaghetti, jumping on the tramp, he loves pulling himself up on anything, loves making messes and being a little terror! haha, playing Spiderman on the Swing, he also does this hop/skip all the time as he walks around, it is hilarious! He is saying almost everything or at least tries to repeat everything you say! He's a happy little guy, but also has his temper! =)

THEY WON!!!!!!!!!

Tyson asked a LONG time ago if I would do a special post if the Lions EVER won again... and TODAY after losing 19 games in a row, yes 19! haha, today they had their victory against the Redskins winning 19-14. He usually wears a little Lions gear to watch a game, but since they have been losing, he decided against that and threw on a Jazz shirt today...lets just say from now on he is going to be putting a little more wear on the Jazz t's hoping for another win! Yea for sticking with them!! =) We dressed up in Lions apparel for Halloween last year, and my mom's cousin asked us at our Trunk or Treat why we came as Losers...haha, well now we can have a little, very little tiny pride about wearing those jerseys..right?!?! Lets just say I think it made Tysons day!!!!!!!!!!!!
